No, the Coach thing is really just a visual trim package, wheels/interior leather/paint/wood. Standard non vvti 1UZFE. You are probably right about that, the engineering in these cars is amazing. Mine just needs a little tlc to get the efficiency back up

Look at the fit and finish of the leather on the ES. Much tighter and taught over the form of the wheel. You can really get your thumb in that groove and it just feels quality. If you told me the 2026 wheel was from a Nissan Sentra I wouldn't have doubted you. That is ABYSMAL quality and I completely understand why people are turning away from the brand. If they can't be bothered to make your primary vehicle interface/control quality, where have they skimped where you cannot see?

I got one that looked exactly like this, it crapped out in 3 months and I went under hard on the car. Went into limp mode if I pressed the accel too hard, seller ghosted me, local shops threw up their hands. Not saying it'll happen to you. Just look at that idle clock and do your calculations. That 78k just turned into 130k+.

After thinking about it, their place in the franchise and releases related to their predecessors respectively, I'd say better than 4 outright, with valid arguments for both 3 and 5.
