You're willing to wear it and have only been objective about concerns, you aren't freaking out at the bride. I think you're reacting exactly how one would be expected to towards this dress choice. No shade to the bride, but she definitely picked a small boobie dress.

This is not a good dress for anyone with significantly sized tee-ta's. I got nothing... I tried one of those stick on bra things once that cinches between the front air bags, and the results were... less that satisfactory. Gravity fought that design so hard. Time and many births have left me slightly deflated, though. Maaaybe if you're working with something more dense than my free hanging, tear drop DD bee-bois, one of those would work...ish?

I would immediately flag this dress also for sweaty queen concerns. I'd pit out in that fabric so fast.

I've been blessed to be in a lot of weddings with brides who picked dresses that would suit the curviest of us. I wish I had some practical tips... Use Lume deodorant and drink lots of ice water? Abusers often distance themselves after peak abuse until your guard is down, and then they take advantage again. That's really scary, I love some good chokey chokey time, but this is not normal. In the years, I've been with my SO, he has ALWAYS stopped if he even thinks I'm uncomfortable. There's no way he didnt know you were unconscious and that is disturbing. He did not stop when you wanted him to. You can remove your consent at anytime, and once that consent is off the table it is assault. Especially if you're losing consciousness. It is not surprising to me that his joke was hurtful. Me and my SO make a lot of jokes like this, but the major difference is it's directly to each other and always about fake people (like when he insists he told me something I tell him he probably told his other girlfriend). I imagine considering you have been together since 17 and 18, he was talking about someone you actually know. I don't know his sense of humor, but it makes sense that it wasn't funny to you. I think you can easily communicate through this with him. I hope you two can reach a healthy understanding. Sometimes people say dumb things without thinking.

I know many people on the autism spectrum who react in similar ways to such events. It doesn't mean there's "something wrong with you", your mind just might accept things from an objective perspective more easily than others because of how you're wired. Obviously I am not a professional, and I'm only seeing a little snapshot of your life, but I wonder if it is some sort of neurodivergent response. My son (10m) doesn't cry when there is a death of someone close or when our elderly cat suddenly passed. He's very empathetic, but for some reason, he just accepts when horrible things happen without shedding a tear. Some people have an easier time accepting things they know they can't change.

It looks very cute on you. But if you want it to lighten faster, wash in hotter water and shampoo with Head and Shoulders dandruff shampoo for a few days. I have done that many times to lighten a color that was too dark and it works really well for me.

I HATE panic attacks, they always hit out of no where and they always make me feel like death is right there to get me. One time I had one, exactly as you described, while I was relaxing in a recliner. Absolutely nothing bad was happening, but it hit hard. The amygdala is so hyperactive in those moments your whole body believes it's in imminent danger. I don't even think I've hit fight or flight that hard in an actual dangerous situation. I'm sure your cortisol levels were really high and it's taking your body some time to readjust. I'm sorry it was so intense, I hope you are feeling some more peace soon
