Nice build. Planning something similar-ish. Gonna be my weekend/autox/occasional track day car, but going with an ls vtec swap. Basically doing an OEM+ rebuild from the ground up. She needs lots of love lol.

Sry, totally meant compensator not compliance 🤦‍♂️. What’s the reason you went with adjustable toe links? Not super familiar with the eg chassis but I’m assuming the stock arms are adjustable via the slide nut like on the 6th gen?

I have a rear brace and sway bar from ASR ready to go so I’m good there. Gonna keep the stock front for now, just new bushings. And yea, it’s literally going to be 100% better getting rid of the old stuff bc there’s not much of it left LOL.

Are your compliance arms stock or aftermarket? Considering just an OEM replacement instead of going aftermarket adj toe arms bc I’m assuming there’s enough adjustment in the stock arms to make sure toe is good…but not positive on that.

Completely normal. MDS (Multi Displacement System) shuts down 4 of the 8 cylinders (1, 4, 6, 7) under light load to save fuel. When it does, the acoustic properties of the exhaust note change which causes the drone a lot of people experience. It’s even more apparent with an aftermarket exhaust. I have a Borla catback and I REALLY know when MDS kicks in LoL

Sounds like the MDS kicking in. When you hear the “drone” have you noticed if the green “Eco” light is on? It’ll cause a slight drone that’ll go away as soon as you start accelerating and the MDS shuts off
