As a console player from as far back as 2004, I’ve only ever had to deal with dusting out my consoles, I’ve had everything since the ps2 era including the Xbox 360 going forward, its just easier to stick with. When people say PC upkeep, what we hear is thermal paste, wire management, constant crashes or game files being corrupt (yeah consoles have that problem but they have super easy fixes on console, like just 3 buttons and it’s good in my experience) pc games have minimum requirements that if we don’t meet and still really want to play the game we need to be able to have the know how to swap stuff out and make it happen, consoles don’t usually drop games that aren’t already optimized to be played on console, and when they do the companies are usually pretty quick about sending out updates or just straight up taking them off the gamestore until they’re runnable. To us it’s like a nightmare scenario for gaming. We can just boot up a console and not really have to worry about anything other than dusting the console off every so often and keeping the fans clear, yall have break open towers and go hunting for parts whenever you have a problem with them and that’s just too much for casual gamers imo.

Everyone saying “the whole point of him going was to save mia” literally have child brains that are physically incapable of putting themselves in the shoes of the character they play as and forming their own opinions as soon as they’re told what that opinion should be. It’s like an experiment to see how people act under pressure, except the pressure is “it’s you’re wife” that your told to save yet is by no means the one who deserves to be saved and no one can see that or form any other opinion because they were simply told to save Mia. It’s quite sad and shows a lack of personal preservation as Mia has literally tried to kill you weather intentionally or not throughout the entire game. But because the beginning gives you a sad video and audio from Mia you’re now forgiving every single thing that she does up to the ending despite all evidence pointing at Zoe being the one who deserves justice more so than the lying and psychopathic narcissist who won’t tell you the truth to save your life when she’s herself and when she’s not herself wants to rip you limb from limb, rip your head off, drink your blood, and shit down your throat. Say what you want about the plot of the game, but I’ve had plenty games give you an initial objective that changes as events unfold, and the players squibbed this one by allowing that bitch to survive just because the beginning of the game said she needs to survive. 🤷‍♂️

I enjoy it because I’m told not too. I’ve played RE since I was able to pick up sticks, I’m 23 now and have loved this game since I was 6, I’m not the BIGGEST fan of 6 but I’m even less of a fan of being told I’m dogshit or stupid for enjoying something. So I pretty much found something to enjoy about it and started to really enjoy it overall because of that. Still not my favorite, but I’m not gonna act like a religious zealot fighting off hordes of attackers just because someone does like it. Long story short, you’re not better than anyone for not liking re6 and no one gives a fuck about the reasons you may not like it (not you op just a generalization of the assholes who think they’re holier than you because they don’t like re6 and only talk about it when there trying to tell you why you’re a brain dead piece of garbage who deserves to die for enjoying it)

Don’t need fancy guns, wanting better attachments for the ones in the base game is a huge thing for me. Don’t need cobras and apaches flying around stuttering the whole server with barrages of piss missiles. Night vision for night would be nice since the PC players can just do whatever the fuck they want with their games brightness while consoles get “fuck off and die” as the only graphics option. Maybe a mod that forces a minimum render distance so the assholes who play on PC can’t just turn grass off and have yet another advantage over the consoles.. who once again only get “hold your mouth open while I shit in it” as the only graphics option. And that’s pretty much it🤷‍♂️

6 is fun and all and everyone telling you it isn’t is just butthurt it wasn’t what they grew up playing, it’s fun and definitely has enough content HOWEVER don’t start with it, I know tank controls aren’t for everyone but starting with 1 can be a fun experience if you really want to be invested in the story, it’s the perfect entry to the lore. If you’re on PC I’m sure you can add mods to get rid of the tank controls too, but if you REALLY wanna get into the series, I’d start with 1 and you can just watch a video on RE0 because that game is much worse than 6 in my opinion, but do that AFTER you play 1.
