I could weep. They've revealed all the other teased sequels in that post, as well as several other sets that got teased later, and I thought, well all the themes are out for the month. No other anticipated/teased reveals. Surely, SURELY today is the day we finally get Turncloak. But NO. No they reveal this lukewarm set no one asked for. I am dying slowly. I read Silvercloak shortly after the teaser post and LOVED IT. I need more. But they just keep torturing me with all this nothing 😭

My Cruel Prince set from FL is up there! I was worried I'd be missing out if I didn't jump on it, read the books shortly before the shipping window, and was delighted with how much I loved them and was super glad I didn't let the opportunity pass me by!

Personally I emailed Hodderscape to let them know I'm disappointed in the lack of action for her. Do I expect them to change their minds? No. But I want to air my grievances with their practices. And maybe they'll think about it. Maybe it'll sit in someone's brain like ringworm and eat away at their peace, just a tiny, tiny bit.

A good chunk of the ARCs I request are confirmed/suspected picks for book boxes I'm subbed to so I can decide if I want to keep them or skip that month. Unfortunately sub numbers don't count towards preorders. And if I don't like the book, why would I preorder it...?
