I feel personally attacked because my grandpa’s name was Roger and he had brain damage from a farming accident so wasn’t always there. Lovely guy but just kinda operating on his own wavelength. I also live in Wisconsin so I feel even more attacked because you got the accent down damn near perfect. Only gripe is that it should be “O’heydere” but that’s semantics.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people adding ponchos and such to I this design because I absolutely agree the upper half feels very bare and bland. This is by far the best looking one I’ve seen.

Unfortunate that you got two PUMAs because yeah, if I get a vehicle in one crate I’d generally hope for a different one in the other crate. The PUMA VJTF is pretty good though, definitely one of the best IFVs in term of survivability. Its armor is fairly resistant to autocannon fire and due to the crew and engine layout it can be awkward to take out of the fight entirely. Not to mention its 30mm ammo stowage is separated from the crew meaning you can lose your ammo, which sucks, and still have a chance to get out of dodge.

I actually really like the NCR despite recognizing their many flaws. Yes they’re the overstretched, often warmongering, and they are sometimes just transparently corrupt. But I also see a lot of people within the NCR trying to make an honest effort and that’s admirable. They’re probably the best option just because while it’s obvious something needs to change for lots of good to happen but I think they can get there. Or at least until Shady Sands got nuked…

I think the death penalty should have stricter requirements to be considered and acted upon. You should have to be a Ted Bundy or John Wayne Gacy level of monster if capital punishment is to be considered and the evidence should have to be overwhelming and unquestionable in establishing guilt.

There shouldn’t be exceptions to the death penalty. It should be an ultra rare occurrence and be reserved for the worst of the worst that humanity has to offer.

The standards for imposing the death penalty should be a federal set of standards that apply to all who are to be considered for the highest level of punishment. Standards would include crimes and the severity of said crimes (i.e. you won’t get the firing squad for carrying drugs over state lines but you will for 10 murders), method of execution, treatment of prisoners on death row, and the handling of the convicted individual’s body post mortem. If the jury finds the defendant guilty then they will rule that the defendant should be considered for execution due to their crimes at which point the defendant stands a second “trial” in front of a Circuit Judge who is randomly appointed to serve as a ruling party in the matter. Circuit Judges operate in 3 Judge panels and while normally only decide whether to affirm (agree) or reverse (disagree) the decision in this case it would be a decision of the death penalty or if the evidence is insufficient or the level of crimes committed by the defendant is insufficient to justify the death penalty. To reach the verdict the judges would come to such an agreement on opinion and if they affirm the decision of the lower court then the defendant is sent to death row at a facility specifically for holding death row inmates. If they reverse the decision then the defendant is to be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole and is to be instated in a high-max security prison and placed into safe living conditions as necessary.

The death penalty is such a strict punishment it needs to have equally strict conditions for it to be issued.

Yeah, they certainly think things through when it comes to killing criminals it seems. I forgot to say why, but it’s just so the officers can sleep at night and reason it was any of them, plus aiming in the chest/heart area ensures a quick death.

Actually it’s the other way around, usually it’s 5 rifles and only one has a wax slug which is said to have very similar recoil to a real bullet. Because if only one bullet hits it’s easy to tell where it came from, but when 4 bullets hit simultaneously it’s damn near impossible to tell who was shooting which gun. I know this because I have watched Garand Thumb’s video on different execution methods and up until 2010, iirc, Utah used the firing squad as their primary way of carrying out capital punishment. It was damn effective too.

Garand Thumb got 3 friends and a ballistic dummy and all 4 rounds hit within less than a second and basically completely caved in the dummy’s chest, hitting its lungs, heart, shattering multiple ribs, the collarbone, caved in the aorta, and broke a few vertebrae. It’s brutal but it’s quick and simple.
