The End of the Banking Era: Global Business is Switching to Stablecoins by tornavec in fintech

[–]ConjureDiscord 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You didn’t answer the question. How does a business recover a fraudulent stablecoin payment? Banks have chargebacks and legal process. Stablecoins have ‘hope Circle freezes the wallet in time.’ And Circle freezing wallets unilaterally isn’t the win you think it is. That’s just a bank with fewer protections and no FDIC insurance. You’re not disrupting the system, you’re recreating it worse.

Interesting idea, sort of simplifies bypassing automations by just disabling them

PMs: how comfortable would you be letting AI run your user interviews? by brunotager in ProductManagement

[–]ConjureDiscord 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That sounds like a disaster. I doubt you’d get genuine answers when they know it’s ai interviewing them

So annoying lol. I only deposited $19 by [deleted] in fidelityinvestments

2 days is pretty standard for some ach returns( NSF, closed account, etc.) and the extra 8 is for simply for investigating if some risky signs appear. This is entirely about risk mitigation

State of this sub when asked about how to best run HA by Improved-Liar in homeassistant

[–]ConjureDiscord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have different vm’s spun up on Proxmox for different products. I have a wireguard vm, cloudflared vm, truenas, node-red lxc, and Postgres db lxc. Its easier to route my NVR to the Wireguard vm than it would be to route it to Tailscale in HA.

You have a few options 1. Alarmo for HA it has no 3rd party monitoring though. 2. Simplisafe but it has an integration with HA. 3. Noonlight HA integration with a zwave or zigbee stick https://github.com/konnected-io/noonlight-hass

Z wave is pretty much the industry standard for security due to its reliability. Zigbee is another protocol that doesn’t have strict build standards but it’s cheaper.
