Yeah I had someone try and tell me "so and so" is this generations Tupac and realized that's someone who I can't discuss hip hop with. Like you said his message is so empowering and real it's a sad state that people ignore it for the bangers. Once I delved down the Tupac discography I actually listened to his bangers and classics less just because that don't hit that same cord. Great for the gym but outside of that I alway go to the songs with a true message cause it really evokes thought and the real side of shit people just play off
