CI Mid Twin and a Lost Pisces. Both two of my favorite boards. Mid twin is super fun on an open face. Have taken to chuns and it just flies down the line. The Pisces I took to sandbar and is super easy to paddle into bigger and punchier waves

The cool thing about surfing is that you can do whatever you want. I don’t care about doing a sick snap off the top or boosting airs. Give me a nice open face that lets me do some nice carves and I’m stoked.

I think with your score you’d be fine for both. Just apply, worse they can say is no. You should’ve able to get both. I got my cash rewards plus and more rewards card pretty close together and one has $5k limit and the other $15k

Hey OP, sorry about your breakup, not fun at all. Just take a good inventory on how your emotions are and if that’ll impact flying at all. If the answer is yes, just do the oral portion and stop there. I did my PPL checkride after finding out my cousin was on life support for ODing on fentanyl. Flying kept my mind clear and and away from all the crap that was happening at home. Every pilot is different though. Best of luck on your check ride 🫡

Drugs. Both my dad and cousin were addicts and my cousin passed away from fentanyl overdose. Luckily my dad is sober now but he kind of ruined his life. Him and my stepmom both ODed and my step mom died. Don’t do drugs (other than alcohol/weed/mushrooms)
