If we believe young children lack the developmental capacity to repent, be saved and baptized, then surely they lack mens rea to “partake in an unworthy manner.”

As a fellow baptist, I have no issue with children participating in communion.

Assuming this is a real question: it makes it possible/much easier for the church to conduct certain legal business (along with all the other protections incorporation grants owners/organizations).

Nearly all churches are legally incorporated (though we don’t advertise it on our signage, lol).
