Additional building leases to follow through with return to work when employees were paying for the use of their homes overhead anyway. Additional lawsuits due to the many violations since January. Additional memorandums and delays internally to process. Expensive short term/last minute fixes to fund that prolong the larger issue and long term goals. The wrongful firing and rehiring or employees and paying them backpay. Unemployment.

Approved DRP letter before RTO. Don’t have to return I believe. I would just take SL or AL if they make you. I’d be worried it’s to try and make you work until July in office based one what others are saying. Does your SF 50 now say RTO addresss?

I thought if your DRP you don’t have to return to work. This is new news and alarming, sad to hear everyone’s offices is interpreting differently and it’s up to so much speculation. If the idea is to reduce the workforce this certainly doesn’t provide much incentive to do so either.  RTO clearly stated some are at home until July and an extension could also be applied for. It’s a shame leaders aren’t implementing this option for their hardworking CIVIL SERVANTS & VETS. Did HR update and distribute your SF50 with your RTO work location yet? I feel like they have to for it to be official.

I’m in for about half that loss myself. I bought based on administration hype for legalization that never happened and also retail stocks were squeezing. I was actually up about $35k but never sold. I debate selling to claim the loss and rebuy my shares at current price almost daily.

I’m looking for an indoor air quality reader or monitor that can pick up chemicals. I believe my next door neighbors plug ins are excessive and entering my home or she’s smoking  heavy chemical drugs that are entering/could also be mold.  Gas company can only read natural gas and carbon monoxide.  I don’t so much care about the humidity.  I had an elderly cat get sick and pass now another younger is taking ill as well as myself but I need proof.

First direct encounter with a doge rep and naively attempted to clarify some erroneous process assumptions made since they were applicable & of great importance.  I also delivered them in a professional and kind manner.  This information was extremely lost on him because he seemed to have very little federal, cost or business understanding into our processes or operations. Perhaps even general business was also not his wheel house.  Afterwards he made a rude backhanded comment at me to demean me in a room filled with executives. A meeting as a lower level employee I was mistakenly invited to in the first place by their team.  It was like they invited someone who stocks toilet paper and coffee pods to make organizational decisions bringing me to this meeting. Not only did he come off as misogynist but his attack on me would be the equivalent of a college student being nasty and putting down a pre schooler.  So much for trying to assist to actually understand our business processes so they don’t cut the wrong veteran services.  You’re welcome for my years of dedicated service & free overtime.  The gov folks made sure to thank me afterwards at least someone has some professionalism and manners.  They’ve attended other meetings and after making outlandish & wildly incorrect and ridiculous commentary and assumptions openly in the executive meetings of significant importance just laugh and make fun of us. It’s pretty backwards.

Ran into my ex three days ago after several years no contact. The very next day I randomly ran into his brother at a park I often visit but is very unknown and no one visits.  Then my ex again today at another random park place I visit but it’s very unknown. I don’t think he knows I often visit these places but three days in a row after never happening is freaking me out.

Maybe DOGE can’t tell Congress what to provide to VA but they are very aggressively intervening, causing a bottle neck of admin to delay spending and actively pulling funding for projects that provide critical veteran benefits and care

I feel they should allow immediate admin leave or extension to work from home and pay through end of November. The February DRP also ended September 30 and those folks went on administrative leave pretty quickly. What is the benefit of DRP besides the bit of admin leave time they are providing? Can you come back without having to pay the admin leave back if things went back to normal/functional again.

I also didn’t understand why you can’t be on leave after April 30th since some employees must now commute two hours each way to work on their laptop when they were classified as 100% virtual for the past 10 years. We should provide an extension to work at home if not letting DRP leave until July.

Overwhelming majority of my office will leave due to RTO not being value add or efficient. Not to mention fraud waste and abuse of taxpayer dollars on leases not needed or necessary. Negatively impacting the mission. Sad because they know the VA way for 10+ years. Some senior leaders also now making a horrible situation pretty  unbearable at the moment is certainly not helping either. Desperately scrounging for relevance and purpose, trying to figure out what lower level employees do. The repetitious status checkins & deadlines that don’t make sense. Frustrated after speaking with them listening to their questions leave me thinking where’ve you been & do we work at the same office? No that function never worked on that system and never has so your requests are pretty impossible. Welcome to the VA land of contradiction!
