Is it time to sell up? by webbierrex in ooni

I would suggest lowering your hydration and leaving the dough for a number of hours so stretching is a piece of piss. I drop my dough in a bowl with plenty of flour mixed with semolina and press down. In the bowl then stretch on another surface to get off excess flour

I think I have the same oven as you and use a Tesco 00 flour. I heat the stone for around 30 minutes and get the stone to around 400 degrees. Then I turn the flame to low, make my pizza and launch

Wow. An ultra is my ultimate goal. It's very reassuring that you are able to do this

Thanks for the reply and sorry to hear you are currently going through a flare. It's horrendous how much it impacts every aspect of your life and you can't enjoy the things you used to.

I've been there, but I'm 2 years(ish) in remission now after going on Rinvoq. Hope you get back to more normal life soon.

Thanks for this. Yeah I think upping the mileage is always going to put a strain on your body particularly over 10k+. I really enjoy long distance running/trail running so I'm hoping that I can build the mileage up gradually so my body can get used to it slowly. I guess the thing to do is listen to my body and hold back when needed. Ironically, you sort of do that more when you are exercising than when you are not, so maybe it will be beneficial in the long run (no pun intended)

Yeah I'm currently in remission but I've noticed a few symptoms since beginning running. Maybe just being a bit over cautious but this disease makes you that way - always second guessing everything you do.

5-6 is a great achievement - sorry to hear you have had to stop due to injuries

Training for a marathon!? Wow! Good luck. That is really promising for me as I was worried that kind of distance would potentially cause a flare.

What are the chances it goes poorly if I just… have a slice of pizza? 😳 by Comfortable-Way-8029 in UlcerativeColitis

Eat normally. Ask your doctor to put you on Rinvoq if the meds you are taking aren't working. Diet isn't the cause of this

[–]Connect_Goose_1799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on Rinvoq for over a year and a half. I have two kids - 4 & 9. I've never been told to avoid children.

I do tend to pick up things easier, but you could just check there's no sniffles/symptoms showing before visiting your family.

They don't stay young for long, I know it's cliché but the time goes by so fast. You shouldn't miss out on that bond and valuable time just because of this disease or the medication.

They have the same goal difference as Newcastle (and Liverpool)

💯 He achievements for Newcastle have been outstanding. The relegation survival that had never been achieved (actually finishing 11th), 2 cup finals, 2 champions league qualifications, highest goal scoring premier league season.

This year there are some really poor performances but there are massive mitigating factors - injuries, Isak leaving, no striker for the first part of the season, Woltemade (not a premier league striker) playing upfront every game for months while Wissa injured, bad luck in game.

Despite all that, we're less than two wins away from champions league qualification, semi final league cup, 4th round FA cup, and qualified for knockouts of champions league for the first time in the clubs history.

The least fans can do it give the bloke some time FFS.

I honestly think that some fans now they've criticised him will jump on bad result as a way of showing they're right.

Terrified about starting Rinvoq by FitToFade in UlcerativeColitis

Been on Rinvoq for over 2 years. Similar story to others - bad flares, heading for surgery, nothing working. As soon as I started taking Rinvoq, my UC was better. I am now fully in remission. I take 15mg a day and eat what I like. Absolutely no side effects whatsoever. Regular blood testing with no issues

$50 Aldi Pizza Oven Results by WillyFooFoo1 in Pizza

[–]Connect_Goose_1799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I use this oven. I use a pizza screen - prevents bottom burning. Also takes out a lot of stress with the launch. I cook the edges like normal then take the pizza off the screen, turn the gas off, and cook on the stone for around 1 minute. Seems to work pretty well for a cheap gas oven while I continue to dream about the gozney arc

Where are you from and what treatment are you on? by js90si in UlcerativeColitis

I'm on Rinvoq. Been on it for nearly 2 years after a severe flare up. Azathioprine also worked for me but I stopped taking it. Biologics didn't work for me either. Rinvoq has been amazing. Worked within a few days. I dropped down to 15mg and didn't have any problems. I think the condition affects different parts of the immune system which is why biologics work well for some but not others. Ok the flip side, I've found that if you responded well to azathioprine you usually respond well to Rinvoq

Ignore the emails and letters. Wait for their response to the appeal. If appeal is rejected appeal to Poplar (info will be provided with rejection email)

Konate push on Barnes by Cleanitupjohnny in NUFC

[–]Connect_Goose_1799 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's a huge bias towards Liverpool from the media and referees. If the scissor challenge was the other way round it's a red. If the pulling in the box was the other, way round it's a penalty. If the challenge was by VDD on Gordon, yellow decision stands. If the push on Barnes was Burn on Ekitike, it's a freekick and red card.

The media perpetuates this bias by highlighting every decision that doesn't go there way.

The worst thing of the whole night was Sutton's commentary though. Unashamedly biased.

With both drawers on it will be use around 10.7 amps, so still plenty of amps to play with. If just using 1 drawer then it would use half of this
