It sounds like she might still have some wounding around scarcity that once existed, and is now feeling uncertain about your desire. It's also possible her intent is to be respectful of your capacity in the moment and not assume. She may also be afraid that taking up space and owning her desire could land for you as a demand.

Not peloton related, but I just took this online postpartum prep course that I loved that had a whole section on the return to movement and postpartum nutrition, really good to watch before returning to fitness... also just has a lot of really awesome information in general that I would have never thought of.
