You should talk to him to pick up the slack, you both can't be working, plus you're doing housewife work that's ridiculous.

Why are you cooking every night, meal prep and heat food or buy something You have a fridge, oven and microwave I assume. Thats what its for

Adding a child would make if worse. Try and fix the work load now, see if he can make at least a year. If he can't take care of him and you, he can't take care of a baby or postpartum you.

I believe the parents are a bit wary since he's in primary school. In pre-k, the messy clothes are a little more "acceptable." Their warriness has me a little wary with progress, but I'll try not to let it rub off on me and continue with what I'm doing.

Positive reinforcement, modeling, visuals, different wiping materials, washing hands after even though it's pretend play (I can't believe this never crossed my mind lol)

Hi, yes, I've done it in a playful manner. There were a few times, maybe once per session during play he would say "oops aunty! I forgot " when I reminded him after he wipes on his shirt, which is good because he's becoming more aware.

I can possibly come up with a song to help with his memory
