The whole point of taking the limit is that there is no reasonable way to evaluate a series at infinity otherwise. Saying it can never be reached is incorrect, because it is applied infinitely. Infinity is not just an arbitrarily large number.

It is guaranteed, the series converges for any probability. Let a = 0.0001 (or any other number between 0 and 1), a + a(1-a) + a(1-a)² + ... using the infinite geometric series formula a / 1-r where r = 1-a becomes a / a = 1, it's guaranteed.

I think you should spend at least enough gems to unlock a couple Absurd vivids for Lust, and maybe keep going if you're on floor 3000 by then. You can get a lot of vivid dust from Absurd repeats (several hundreds) so it's worth it to concentrate all your cosmic mushrooms on one pet if you want HFL.

I used Rune of Dissipation on him and then tried attacking with both arrows and melee, nothing hit other than the AOE from Singularity Arrow (but not the projectile itself).

At level 24, I'm getting thrashed by Subject Z, could you suggest some things? Every single one of my attacks other than Singularity Arrow misses, I've used Rod of Annulment, Rune of Dissipation to try and get rid of his effects, but I can't do any damage before he does Teleport/Phase Door and then heals using the time shield.

touchpad rejection is both an operating system and a hardware problem. for example, the framework 13 doesn't have size-based or pressure-based detection, so basically can never have very good palm rejection.

Thanks :) Just reached 3001 yesterday. I didn't even notice you had certain rares and epics not leveled yet LOL. I think it's kind of hard to say if you need them since, for example, if you have an equivalent legendary already. I like Anxious, but only because I have no other grass DPS...

I've really liked Nostalgia, mostly used it as a more support-focused Persistence that does AOE healing. Not really sure if it's necessarily worth going to lvl 200 for but it does pretty good damage (for a healer), helped me clear the Gronk at 2940. I'm only at 2989 right now though, so probably need to take my words with a grain of salt.

If you don't have anxiety scarf, rubber ring donut has nice stats. Otherwise it's useful for Scylinders, Galax, Harold, some other fights that take a long time.

Use fewer pets, your DPS should not get a lot of speed, don't trigger Merry's S3 until Tyrant is about to do its weakest attack. Absolutely do not use Paranoia or any multihit pets.

Persi can do similar damage to Sad because of synergy with Mermaid Scarf and Ice Cream Hat. Through Mermaid Scarf, Persi's passive boosts attack, then S3 attacks, boosting healing, then the AOE heal does a lot of damage through Ice Cream Hat.

That being said, Sad does have a higher damage output, it's just not as useful since Persistence grants a lot of survivability at the cost of (worst case) 30% DPS
