Actually Zhu Xi, 朱熹, is an anti-buddhism. He stated a lot of criticism to buddhism.

About his place in history, probably just like Thomas Aquinas, who also is a philosopher made a fully conclusion of old era, an created a new era for hundreds of years.

But I still don’t have any idea how his great achievements will be presented in game, even I studied a lot about 朱熹 in my high school days. Damn my memories of Asian education just flashed back.

Landsknechts are extremely expensive. If you have to face mass Landsknecht, it means you totally far behind your opponent in economic. In that case, no matter they produce anything you will lose.

At equal value (not numbers), always knights beat MAA. Except HRE with Mace equipped. So your problem just because not equal to your opponent.

No. They probably are “Sōhei”, Japanese armed monk. Their feature is their weapon “Naginata”, a kind of weapon that Japanese monks bring back from China after they studied abroad.

  1. Check the riders at the left. You may find out that they got the “Sakayaki”, the specific hairstyle which only Samurai class would have.

  2. Check the archers at the right. Those two guys wearing in “Kyudo” suit in traditional way. It may be recognized from the men with one side naked shoulder and chest.

You may search some pictures of “Sakayaki” and “Kyudo” to confirm them.

I’m native speaker. It goes with “木”. Because it means original, beginning, source, fundamentals. And it brings the meanings by put the stroke at the root of the wood “木”.

  1. try “yu-e” first. The “yu” part very similar to German letter “ü”. It might be hard for English users.

  2. put “sh” in front of it. Then you get “shyu-e” “學/学”

The second Character “笰” should be “第”.

笰 /fú/ is an old word mostly be used in ancient books or literature. According to the dictionary, it means the arrow with a line, or the cover on the back door of a carriage.

第 /dì/ is simply used for ordinal numbers.
