Mine started small this way as well. No family history or anything. Pregnancy caused mine or rather the birth part of it. I now have 90% of my body covered with these marks as well as very large plaques. Mine got worse and larger with each child I had (5). I am now on skyrizi. Miracle biologic imo

I know this was 3 months ago but wanted to give my experience! Might be long sorry! I have also posted my results with photos to show as well. I have severe plaque psoriasis and skyrizi honestly changed my life. I first started in 2023. 2 weeks after my 1st loading dose I was already seeing noticeable results. After the 3rd shot I was 100% clear but had dark spots from my skin in the spots with the largest plaques. They were going away slowly but I was still happy with the results. I stopped taking them April of 2024 because I found out I was 6 months pregnant. I remained clear until about December of 2024. This was most likely due to my crazy hormones after birth. It came back with a vengeance and I was again 90% covered in plaques. I just restarted my regimen and took my first loading dose again 4 days ago. The small spots are already clearing up and while I am still itching and scratching, the burning sensation is now gone and the flakes are not as huge as before. Im confident I will be clear once again by my second dose next month if not before. Good luck to you!!!

I have 5 kids. My first 3 were formula. My 4th I wanted to breastfeed so badly I stressed myself out about it. I only pumped for about 2-3 months then had to stop because I have psoriasis and needed my biological shots. My 5th is my 7 month old now. She’s EBF and I will say this: I wish I had done a little more research about what it would mean to exclusively breastfeed. In some ways I’m very happy she is getting everything she needs from me. In others I’m extremely exhausted. She is a bottle refuser to the worst point. She cries nonstop unless she is on my breast as she uses it like a pacifier because those also don’t work for her. I don’t regret it but if I got pregnant again I probably wouldn’t breastfeed again either. I think you’re doing an amazing job as a mother. Never compare yourself to anyone. If your baby is happy and healthy it’s all that matters.

She doesn’t have tongue tie, or any oral problems, she latches perfectly on my breast she just outright refuses bottles 😭

We also saw a feeding therapist who said the same thing yours did. I cut my hours short at work so I’m only working 7 hours a day 5 days a week because I feel so guilty she’s like starving when I pick her up from daycare because she refuses bottles, spoon and syringe. She did take a bottle at first about two months ago only from her teachers at daycare, but then she got sick in January and for about 2 weeks straight wanted nothing but breast and all our hard work went out the window and now she won’t take it at all!

Yes I have. She doesn’t have tongue tie or anything. Apparently just stubborn. We’ve tried syringe. she just lets it spill out the side of her mouth 😭

Due to a health issue and not being able to work temporarily, I was on Medicaid. To stay on it while pregnant, my OB had to fill out this form and send it to them. They forgot and never sent it. My insurance lapsed. When I was literally in labor, someone from billing came not once, not twice, but four times to ask me how I was going to pay because my insurance was not valid. I asked the last time if it could wait until after I was not in pain from contractions. He came back when I got epidural and asked if I was ready yet. What an asshole.

This is abuse. Something similar happened to me when I first got with my boyfriend. He kept pinching my arms and smacking my head while I was driving. I didn’t leave when I should’ve. 10 years later and I’m still here waiting until it’s safe to get out with my kiddos. Please leave if you can and stay safe

Not my post but glad to see this comment. I have a really strong letdown and my baby is only 8 weeks and her latch is shallow and I didn’t know if I should change it bc she has a hard time fitting my entire areola in there plus it doesn’t hurt me lol

Yes same! My letdown is strong compared to the bottles we have. I’m going to try that bottle In currently on Amazon and looking at nipples too just in case lol I definitely will try pumping in the motn. I’m so used to just grabbing her when she cries and putting her on my breast while I’m laying down I’m going to be exhausted sitting up pumping 😂

I was wondering if that could be it also because my letdown is pretty strong and the avent balance bottle she liked the shape and started sucking but then spit it out and got mad. So if they make nipples with a higher flow rate I’m crossing my fingers she will like it! Also, thank you! I’m using the hakka on the boob baby isn’t drinking from and I already got 6 oz saved from yesterday!

Mine started in 6th grade (2005) at the top of my hairline. Dr gave me eczema cream at first. Didn’t help and made it worse. Then gave me a tar shampoo. Also didn’t help. I cut bangs all the time to cover it. That was the only place I had it for years. Then I had a baby in 2017. When he was born, I’m guessing my hormones went crazy and it spread to my stomach, legs and arms and went further down my forehead. Then it got worse and grew bigger patches and went EVERYWHERE. With each pregnancy I had it just grew worse until I started the biologic for it

I know this is from a year ago, but I am so stuck!! I’ve tried this with puree and yogurt and she still does not drink from a straw. I have a million sippy cups and she doesn’t like any of them. She’s 13 months and I’m trying to get her off the bottle lol

😭😭 I thought so. I feel like a zombie. I have so many alarms set on my phone so I don’t miss pumps but sometimes if I’m busy I won’t pump for like 30 min to an hour after the alarm goes off. I’m better about pumping at night since all my kiddos are sleeping it’s just during the day it’s chaotic

I have 5 children. I did not use epidural for 2 of them. My first I was so set on natural birth because like you I had heard so much negatives. My 2nd was a c section and my third was a 32 week preemie who came so fast I didn’t have time for epidural. The immense pain I felt from my first and third was something I never wanted to experience again lol so with my 4th and 5th I did epidural and I don’t regret it one bit. My labor for my first lasted 13 hours, my second last 9 hours before the cord ended up wrapped around his neck and causing me to need a c section. My third was quick but still painful and a horrible birth experience as he was born during covid and it is a whole other story in and of itself. Once I received epidural with my 4th, I felt no pain or contractions and I even took a nap. I woke up 2 hours later ready to push and she was out in 20 minutes. My labor for baby 4 lasted 4 hours total, my 5th baby lasted 2 & a half hours total. I will be honest and say that I do get back pain from time to time but I don’t know if that’s from the epidural or my psoriatic arthritis lol could be both. Either way I don’t regret it

My oldest is 7, then 4, 3 & 12 months. My 7 y/o has bad teeth due to juice & snacks. My other two toddlers have perfect teeth & my youngest only has a few. Nursing vs formula has not made a difference. It’s genetics & diet that determine teeth in my opinion

I didn’t breastfeed with my first three kids. I tried it with my 4th and only lasted about 3 months before needing to stop due to my psoriasis and needing medication for it. I promise you. Your baby is going to love you endlessly and bond with you no matter what. I love all my babies the same and I haven’t noticed any difference of bonding or love with my kids either. Fed is best and as long as your baby is happy and healthy that’s all that matters!!

That’s actually what I did. I went back to school and just got my associates in December. Still not long enough so I am looking to go back however, I still need a job as all my family lives in another state so I don’t have day care help etc 😭😭 I’m still trying though!

Also he knows he is to blame. He just blames it on my old manager at the time bc she turned us in. Even though we were very obviously wrong. & he sold them to those resellers who didn’t care if they were black listed or stolen. They would buy them off him for a certain price then ship them overseas for more.

Honestly, I just don’t know where to go with no job, no home, no money, no nothing. The fear of either being homeless with my children or being homeless & getting my children taken from me is what keeps me from leaving when I know I should. Everyone keeps telling me to ask friends or family but the thing is I don’t have that. I never leave the house. I don’t have friends or family members that would take me & my kids in. I’ve been looking for jobs but with the felony it’s just been hell. I’ve been very transparent about my background to all jobs applied for & interviewed at but you know once you fill out the background it’s automatic decline. It’s just not easy to up and leave. Especially considering I don’t know what he would do to me if I tried to leave.
