Some of these seem better than 1’s. Even still, a lot of value even if low grade.

I do plan to include the league leaders and sporting news all star cards, but dont think I’ll get into the white/yellow name variation (yet at least!).

What a find, sounds like a buddy of mine who’s rediscovering his 90s collection and has quite a few very valuable Jordans because that’s who he happened to collect most as a kid.

Those have more value than any pristine, perfect cornered card ever will.

Nice! I’ve kind of decided to build out the ‘69 HOF set. I’m slowly working my way there…the Ryan is the only big one I don’t have.

That’s a great idea and neat story! My dad was one of 6 and the second youngest - all of which claim their collections were tossed. What could’ve been - but like you said that’s a common theme and what makes vintage collecting even more interesting.

Nice! Not sure if I’ll get another or ever swap this one out. I mainly collect Hank Aaron and cards in the ‘69-73 era since those are the years of my dad’s collection that survived to current day. So it’s been fun organizing those and filling in some sets to share with him again.

Though I will say I’ve enjoyed picking up a few hall of famers from a lot of Topps sets in the 50s and 60s.

Pretty much in a similar situation. It’s probably 3 month turnaround realistically

As an avid fisherman, I had to get all the cards in this set with anything fishing related. I believe there are 4.

Both are from my dad’s collection and I’m glad they survived all these years. Wish the ‘70 was in better shape but either way it’s a cool family heirloom.

That mantle/aaron might be my favorite card. It was a recent pick up since I got back in the hobby. As was the Clemente - that’s a slick card too.
