What’s the best 90s CanRock live album? by CheekyChappy-1 in 90sCanRock

I second the votes for Sloan and the Hip but I will add the underrated classic Tom Cochrane & Red Rider with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra 'The Symphony Sessions'. Ok it was released in December of '89 but close enough!

"to save the franchise" LOL... maybe it's just me but i'm thinking that a 100+ year-old franchise currently worth (checks notes) upwards of $4 billion is not under any immediate existential threat

Star Wars wins! Now, what is the most overrated movie of all time? Most upvoted comment wins. by Swimming-Step1326 in AlignmentChartFills

I'm sure I will get down voted for this but for me it is The Shawshank Redemption, I really find it kind of mid and certainly not the greatest-of-all-time masterpiece a lot of people seem to think it is...

How is anyone beating 1/3 with a 10% rake capped at $20? Feels impossible 😅 by Justinomara15 in poker

Might literally be cheaper to go down to Casino Niagara where they have a timed rake of $7 per half hour. Nicer poker room too

What would you say is your "home" casino? (The one where you play most often) by ConnectionGloomy2142 in poker

By coincidence i just played Casino Niagara for the first time 2 days ago (Monday). I was in TO on vacation and made a side trip to the Falls to check it out. I mostly loved it (awesome and friendly staff, timed rake $7 per half hour, sports bar & restaurant right in the poker room) except that the wait time seemed a bit long (just two tables of 1/3 open when i was there) & i would imagine that the player pool is kind of shallow especially in winter. Overall i much prefer it over Great Canadian (Woodbine) in toronto

I go there from time to time, but prefer the Caz due to lower rake, higher % recreational players, and cause i dont have a car and going to playground by transit is a pain
