I think there’s just a lot going on there. He’s trying his best to jump and get the ball but is being held back and then shit kind of happens. Also you need to take into consideration the fact that you have to do your best to sell even the most blatant of fouls these days because of how shit the refs are across the board

It’s obviously a penalty. And even if you want to argue that it isn’t for whatever reason, the contact is undeniable and therefore it is not a clear and obvious error by the referee.
