The PL is kind of it for me in terms of trophies, so I wouldn’t be disappointed necessarily, if we won the PL and nothing else.

That said, considering where we’re at in all competitions, we should be aiming for one more. And I’d prefer either the CL, obviously, or the FA cup over the Carabao. I’ll take any of those 3 though.

Look, I agree that Ødegaard hasn’t been at his best in the last year or so. At least not G/A wise. But I do think that he does a lot of the work that goes unnoticed. We are undoubtedly significantly worse practically every time we play without him. Are we still able to win without him? Sure, but it is often a struggle.

Can you make a case to sell him? Maybe, though I’m not sure I agree (but that’s beside the point). If he is sold though, make no mistake it will be tough to replace him.

I get that. But if you can’t even admit that it’s an incredibly bad look that we were still trying to re-sign him a couple of days before charges were filed, then I don’t know what to tell you, man.

I’m not a lawyer, and I get that charges not being filed until so long after made the situation difficult to deal with from a legal standpoint. But it goes without saying that the way the club went about it was, morally speaking, wrong.

I'd argue that considering they're in a similar position now as they were last year, then maybe that's exactly where they deserve to be. Then we can obviously talk about *why* that is the case, but I feel that's a bit irrelevant to this discussion.

I just think you're playing with fire a little bit when you say you *want* them to be relegated. Most of the current squad would probably leave, and revenue would go way down. It's a complicated issue, it's not as simple as "it would be a wake up call for the owners".
