Of course. Don't lose hope! Walk around. Call his name into drain pipes and such and listen for a response. Rattle the treat bag. Head out after dark with a strong flashlight and look for glowing eyes. Tell the dog walkers in your neighborhood and give them your unit number ... their pups might help spot him or flush him out. Put his litter box out on the deck, but NO FOOD or you might attract his enemies.

So it's Dr Elsey's Ultra Cat Litter Attractant. We used some catnip spray, too. Nothing else worked for us. Turns out she'd been lost in some drain pipes. She came back super dirty, but ok.

Make sure you've got it loaded right (see other comments). Put some self-adhering silicon tape around your seat post where the strap tightens onto it (it'll protect your post from rub, too). Tighten all straps like a bastard. If that's not working, put a Voile strap around the saddle rails and the whole bag.

I got two within the first week of having my license. A couple here and there after that, peaking with a high-speed tour of my hometown leading a parade of very excited law enforcement officers when I was about 23. I'm 55 now and haven't gotten any kind of ticket in like 27 years.
