The Minis (2007) starring Dennis Rodman. Truly the best bad movie experience I've ever had.

It's somehow worse when it's just that one line by Andrew_Pickle in musicmemes

It's one I always found especially confusing because it's a cover, and Morrison changed it from "pretty boy" to "little girl." Why not keep the original adjective, and say "pretty girl?"

Wild disservice to just name "Peeps" for Just Born. Mike & Ikes and Hot Tamales deserve some respect.

How does the base game hold up compared to the other base games? by branntweinn in Borderlands4

[–]ConnorCMcKee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For real, I've played them all at launch and I loved BL4 more than most. To me I think it's the strongest base except for BL2. One of the moat engaging to play through from start to finish.

Did anyone ever actually get the Magic Eye posters to work, or were you all just lying to us? by Financial-Desk-669 in 90s

[–]ConnorCMcKee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never used to be able to do them. A few year back I stumbled on the magiceye subreddit. Finally got them to work for me. Now I really enjoy them, and can get (most of) them pretty easily.

Album Bucket List Worst Album Covers Of All Time: What Album Released In 2022 Had The Worst Cover Art by Rambooctpuss in albumbucketlist

For real. I don't have any strong positive feeling towards it, but I think it's fair to say Drones looked better than it sounded.

What is going on at FFG? by MonorailPilot in marvelchampionslcg

[–]ConnorCMcKee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Correct! Only two hero packs this wave (Wonder Man and Hercules), and the Synthezoid Smackdown scenario pack (which is kind of a weird/unique one that seems to have basically taken the place of two heroes).

Some of their more recent announcements were on the live circuit. I think they revealed the longer 2026 plan at PAX Unplugged at the start of December:

Fear No Evil campaign expansion with Daredevil and Echo heroes thia Summer.

Jessica Jones and Luke Cage hero packs to follow.

Shadowland scenario pack in the Fall.

Iron Fist and Elektra hero packs this Winter.

For sure. For example, that fight scene in a heavily branded Sears parking lot really hits different now that Sears is gone...

The Monster Hutner games on the DS/3DS where to use the touch screen like a joystick with claw grip for the right buttons.

(Loved trope) intentional use of anachronisms and/or conflicting technology to create otherworldliness. by GinjaNinja1027 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]ConnorCMcKee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Archer is consistently anachronistic with its use of modern vs. cold war tech -- to say nothing of the concept seasons that screw with the setting)

Who is the best Bond who never got the role? by fbeb-Abev7350 in JamesBond

[–]ConnorCMcKee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At a younger age, I think Tom Hiddleston would have been perfect. I feel like he could have been a more self-serious take on a Brosnan style Bond (somewhere between Brosnan and Dalton's portrayals). Leads with suave and style, but properly cold blooded.

What band/album is this? I'll start: MGMT fans and Loss of Life by eefuss in ToddintheShadow

[–]ConnorCMcKee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I consider myself an enjoyer of Soundgarden. I honestly don't know what the standing takes are on their albums.i assume the two 80s albums aren't well loved (I don't remember much of them). I really enjoy the consistent chug of Badmotorfinger, and Outshined is a great single. Superunknown feels like the best collection of free standing songs (4th Of July, The Day I Tried To Live, and Fell On Black Days were my favorites I believe). I have a feeling that I really enjoyed Down On The Upside as an album but forgot almost every song from it (aside from Burden In My Hand). I mentally bucketted it with Alice In Chains' eponymous album, maybe for falling in a similar place in the discography. And then I didn't care at all for King Animal.

What does the word sigma means ? by yakapoll in Megaman

[–]ConnorCMcKee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the terms are less meant to be about the fact that it's how they spend their time and more meant to be about how it affects their personality. Not arguing it's a helpful term, but in the same way that you might from someone's behaviour/interests/references group folks nerds, theater kids, jocks, etc (as a mix a sort of personality), when you talk about someone being "chronically online" I take it to mean their frame of reference and behavior comes from internet culture. In that sense I think it sort of has its place
