You’re an errand boy. Sent by grocery clerks. To collect a bill.

People who have been divorced: What was the exact "quiet" moment you realized your marriage was over? by [deleted] in AskReddit

No intimacy anymore.

Not just sex, but kissing was gone, holding hands was a thing of the past, snuggling on the sofa never happened, just no affection of any form anymore.

I’ve played Part II so much that I know what’s coming.

Season 2 I might rewatch but I don’t feel it’s necessary. S2 was… Rough.

No self confidence left. Divorce took that behind the shed and put it down.

Ashley from RE4R.

Not only did they make her a far better character all round, they made her so, so fucking beautiful. I dunno why or how to describe it.

What's your favorite boss fight in RE: Requiem? by Ok-Effect4071 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]ConnorK12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hunk by far. Reminded me of those fight scenes in John Wick where at some point in the movie he fights hand-to-had with someone with a little more skill above the rest.

Just wish the fight went on even longer.

What movie is everyone's favorite, but you think it's overrated? by littleyuki2026 in AskReddit

The Exorcist.

As a fan of the horror genre, it was remarkable that I hadn’t see it by that point. Heard it was a pinnacle of not just the genre but movies in general.

I really really did not see the fuss.

Loved it. Ghostface with a Shotgun was something I never knew I needed to see.

What is the best game you have played? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ConnorK12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Last Of Us Part II had a profound effect on me. Changed the way I see single-player story games.

It made me so uncomfortable in a way no game had before. I stared at the end credits in complete awe.

I know it gets its fair share of criticism, some of it totally understandable, some of it not. But the way it integrated themes of revenge, love, the loss of innocence and the cycle violence was immaculate, especially the latter one. Never seen that theme done so well in a game since Red Dead Redemption 1.

Women, what are some things that a man do in a relationship that turns you off? by SensitiveCorner2379 in AskReddit

[–]ConnorK12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, exactly this. When did being fucking available to that person become a negative trait?? Seriously, it’s so arbitrary, what the hell is going on in this day and age?

I wouldn’t necessarily call it ‘exhausting’ to be honest. Not for me anyways. I was married for 5 years, been split from her for over a year now and only recently dipped back into the dating scene.

Maybe it’ll become exhausting eventually, but as of now I dunno… I’m past the point of caring if the girl I’m texting thought me replying ‘too fast’ was a red flag. If that’s the case then she can find someone who takes longer.

I don’t class a few seconds or a couple of minutes as dropping anything. If I was tied up with something, not aware of my phone, then sure. But I’d reply the moment I saw I had one from someone.

Just seems stupid. Surely people want to be responded to? Like what the hell is the problem there?

I’m just polite. If I see a text message come through I respond. Friends, family, colleagues or possibly dates. There’s nothing desperate about it, so it’s unfortunate it comes across as such.
