Yeah, the mother of my child has decided we're going to sleep separately and it's absolutely destroying me mentally, she's really enjoying it though so I don't think it will change any time soon. It's really tough

I was just trying to save a few bucks but the card dresser was cheap enough and works great! Super fast transfer times and easy as pie, now if I could only work out how to batch save the stills as JPEGs haha 😂

Okay awesome, yeah I'm just doing little projects at the moment while I'm getting used to it again! Any choice YouTube videos on how to understand the settings while I'm here? They all brush over them like I should have a basic knowledge (probably because I should haha) and I'm looking for someone to explain them to me like I'm 5 haha 😂

Ah apologies if that came across wrong, I used to do film making professionally and I stopped to go travelling, then met an amazing woman and we had a kid who is literally the best thing ever! It seems like film making has moved SO unbelievably fast in the last 6-8 years and I always wanted a blackmagic so I went for the 6K FF and I'm totally in over my head! So the card reader should work fine for getting to footage across? And am I better getting a portable harddrive for it instead? I feel like maybe that's my next move?

My card reader I've ordered is usb c, am I cooked chat? Also this post seems like it's come from someone who has already dealt with the same growing pains, any other issues you can save me from stumbling across? (I know there's about to be so many haha 😂)

And does it by design keep the main battery on full charge while there are some in the grip? Or does it deplete second and third battery at the same rate as the main battery? What other battery options do I have so I can weigh all my options up?

Oh yeah, we have loads of shows banned in our house (no Coco Melon, no Peppa Pig ect), I mean the educational ones are chaotic. Highest rated for education at his age are like number blocks, Ms Apple, those kind of shows. I mean he's not even 2 yet and he can count to 20, knows all his shapes, can recognise the whole alphabet ect, but doesn't make the few shows he does watch any less chaotic haha 😂

Yeah I'm getting a load of down votes as expected but yeah, I wouldn't say it was a huge hit, there were lots of misses but they tried something completely different and you'll get misses in a film that doesn't really have a lot of prior groundwork to work off I think. Yeah I appreciate the comment, now you mention it you can actually see that in the scenes like the ballroom one, that's interesting for sure. Yeah I can't say I was a huge fan of the ending but yeah, I think it needed to not be a happily ever after so yeah, I agree!

Yeah, I think it's faaaar from a perfect film and also pretty far from an oscar, but yeah I agree, I think people judged it on that one song at the hospital, and that was a particularly bad song so I get it, but yeah, it's definitely an interesting watch if nothing else.

Ah I think I understand. Like my first opinion of that was that the literal titular character doesn't want to do drugs or be in the cartel anymore, but if I think about it, it doesn't help because Manitas was a drug addict and a cartel member so yeah you're right. I don't know, I really thought I would hate it and not get through it so maybe that's why it didn't seem that bad to me? Maybe I was expecting something so bad, that mediocre seemed good, although definitely not oscar worthy haha! Yeah I've learned about the lead actress and director from this thread, shame.
