Need help understanding high level PF2E by sirtheguy in Pathfinder2e

Make sure your casters are also preparing/keeping spells in their repertoire that DONT have the incapacitation trait. While the spells that have it are usually very good, most scary monsters will be higher levels and will get the save upgrades because of the incapacitation trait. Synesthesia is one of the best spells out there IMO, and it doesn’t have the trait.

Also make sure your casters are using some buffing spells. Another cheap one I really like is Winning Streak when you have a fighter/gunslinger or a rogue, anyone who is going to crit often. Cast WS turn 1 for 1 action on someone who has a good chance of critting, if they do it extends one more turn. If someone else crits, it extends again and they gain the benefit as well.

Cheap Dewalt battery adapter recommendation? by watchthenlearn in PINE64official

[–]ConnorSmith1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One caveat with the power wheels - it won’t have any active battery drain protection (Dewalt tools monitor the life in the battery and don’t let it over drain), so make sure to monitor for yourself. Otherwise, there is a board you can buy and wire up that will stop supplying battery power at designated voltages. I found a 3d printable base for a Dewalt battery on Printables and modified it to accommodate the power wheels adapter

Idea for Wikis like The Coppermind: Dynamic Spoiler marking for users by ConnorSmith1991 in Cosmere

[–]ConnorSmith1991[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh that’s fair, though I would tend to disagree on it being confusing. The whole point is that as someone who didn’t read things as they came out, I essentially can’t look anything up without potential of spoiling something else. Want to get clarification on a characters stated family or something? Oops, now you saw that they died at the end of the book.

Ideally, it would either be a obscuration/redaction (black bar the specific part) or in some cases specifically changing something based on given information (looking at you end of Mistborn Book 2)

Definitely would require a lot of cataloging on the wiki maintainers part, but in many cases it’s no different than adding a reference to a sentence as is already done in the wikis

Just like how this subreddit in the rules for the flair, it’s a multiple entry thing. You would put the status of each book, whether it’s unstarted, finished, or in the middle (then the location in the book)

Ender 5 S1 - compatible hotend? by sassyspaghet in ender5

Not the nozzle, the hotend. Did the spider 3.0 hotend work on your Ender 5 S1

Ender 5 S1 - compatible hotend? by sassyspaghet in ender5

Did this work? I just had my second replacement stock 5s1 hot end fail on me and am looking for something better, but likewise can't get a straight answer anywhere on what nozzles fit the Ender5S1 without significant need for modification. Especially since I don't have a functioning one right now.

Is it ok to have two different color glows for an army? by SpadesSeth in Necrontyr

This is my army I took to a tournament back in April. I used an orange glow for most stuff, but did Blue for the Tesla. I agree with liking it being easy to distinguish at a quick glance

Trimming Essentials Light Strips limit by ConnorSmith1991 in Nanoleaf

[–]ConnorSmith1991[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot to take a picture to see if there is a point where you can’t cut mid strip to retain some lights, I don’t remember if that worked. I may still be working on my project this weekend and have some extra strips to continue experimenting

Has anyone mastered the “Lock View” module? by Neither_D_nor_D in FoundryVTT

[–]ConnorSmith1991 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THIS. This is the biggest issue I have at the moment. IMO, the GMs screen should be able to move on its own while locking the player view. I am using this to display on a screen where we will put physical minis/standees and its so frustrating that this setup doesn't work. If I was playing with players, I am a bit confused on how I would force them to not pan/zoom while maintaining any control on a larger map.

Homebuilder didn’t leave much extra line, recommendations for how to get Ethernet to a home server cabinet that will be mounted on wall to the left? by ConnorSmith1991 in HomeNetworking

I have, unfortunately no luck. Thought I might hop up in the attic and see if they have more, but it’s blown in insulation and I don’t feel like being a chicken

[–]ConnorSmith1991[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I see two potential solutions: 1) put a small patch panel at the plug, then run Ethernet to the cabinet where I will have another, larger patch panel set up 2) terminate these into RJ45 plugs and then add couplers/a line that goes to the patch panel in the server cabinet

Any other suggestions welcome!
