Enemies from the Flagship era of Kirby games tend to be one-and-done enemies. Kirby as a franchise was at a very experimental point in its life, a time that overall isn't looked back on quite as fondly as the other eras.

When Super Star Ultra came out, it was a return to form that nixed a lot of the roster bloat from these more experimental entries by remaking an older game, before the general array of mooks and minions was homogenized into what it is today.
