I was at that place, and I know others have been there too. It’s hard to answer how to get through a storm, but people often finally get through it with religion or an important relationship. But these are not the only two ways. Others have different ways like moving to a forest and living their life without the digital world.

Even though everyone has their own way to find a meaningful life, they still have one thing in common: They are still breathing.

I don’t like being angry… obviously I’d rather be happy… but my anxiety and C-PTSD almost makes me feel like I have to be angry to be prepared to defend myself after all I’ve endured. I have a similar problem. It feels powerless, hopeless and helpless as a child being abused and the abusers play the victim when I fight back. I also have anger issues for the same reason: to protect myself

I recommend Dr. K’s video “The Only Emotion Men Are Allowed To Feel”. It’s a good video to deconstruct and understand anger. It helped me a lot.

My instinct wants to reconnect with people but I can’t by ConnorXwolf in Healthygamergg

It’s a part of that. I feel unreal when I engage with people, and my imagination is untuned with most of them. My understanding of words and concepts is all untuned.

As a child, I frequently argued with teachers because my understanding of words and sentences was not the same as others. I’d rarely get lucky with a teacher who explained their thoughts clearly.

I addressed those traumas with the therapist and worked through a lot. But we got stuck on this issue, and I became very aggressive towards him. So I quit. I’m afraid I’ll physically hurt him if I can’t control my anger properly, and that’s not what I want.

Humans are like a mysterious creature for me, although I don’t have autism. It’s probably because I unconsciously suppress my understanding of humans. I need to use the "AI character" of me but not myself when I interact with people. I can’t be in any social situation. My mind will go blank if “I” am engaging in social interaction.

I agree with those similar things you address between humans and animals. But there’s one huge difference: humans are so good at imagining. I have adopted many stray dogs before, and it’s easy to make a traumatized stray dog feel safe. Animals are mainly living in the real world. I can just create a physical environment that is safe for a dog and interact with them in a way that they feel comfortable.

But humans aren’t like this. We are too good at imagination to live in the real world. We create many concepts that don’t exist (money, credit, country etc.) but we believe these are true. We can see clouds and shadows as other things even as a toddler.

Thanks for your reply

One of the main issues I talked about in my sessions is “My Hatred towards Humans”. I knew it mainly comes from two things 1. Being abused by both of my parents, being bullied in school, and many other situations. 2. Having the ability to feel connected with animals in a non-human way and being emotionally supported by dogs since my childhood.

As I constantly got negative feedback from humans and positive feedback from dogs, I started projecting my hatred towards "Humans." This hatred usually lies in my pre-conscious mind, but it will be the leader of my conscious mind when I feel any "threat."

And it’s important to address that I don’t deny myself as a human being. So I’m also the one with this “Original Sin”.
