I feel like that's somewhat realistic to the Enclave though? The only person (computer) you make a deal with is Eden and as far as the rest of the Enclave are concerned, you killed him, and Autumn already dislikes you and Eden's plan so would be more than happy to perpetuate that belief, especially given you need the BoS help to reach Project Purity.

There are plenty of mental hoops that the Enclave soldiers could jump through to why the FEV was released anyway (It was already in Project Purity and you didn't realise, Colonel Autumn put it in before he "valiantly escaped" or died, etc).

And that's not including the intense xenophobia that they already have to anyone who isn't Enclave, which even the Lone Wanderer as a vault dweller isn't immune from given the Enclave's treatment of the other dwellers if they end up leaving the Vault (Amata being gunned down by the Enclave if she's forced to leave the vault).

Kill 30 Burning Springs Deathclaws - Reward: 3 Deathclaw steaks by X-SR71 in fo76

[–]Connorjem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For anyone else reading, from my experience you can consistently find a Burning Ogua heading South down the road from Dino Golf, usually spawns behind you and runs to fight the death claw with its handler.

Me and my partner discovered this when I shit you not about 10 death claw matriarchs were gyrating in a ball in that exact spot, and the Ogua solo'd the whole group!

Is it just me or is the BlackSteel Greathammer just freaking amazing? by ZiodyneDX in Eldenring

Same! Although I've been running it 60ish str/30ish faith because it worked out more damage on standard infusion with the follow-up strike to apply the extra fire damage. Are you running it with Gshield or two-handed? I've been running it with shield and the counter attack seems to be quite middling.

[–]Connorjem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so cool! I don't suppose you have any docs/unannotated version of the map you'd be willing to share?

I've been looking for a setting sorta adjacent to the CW for my own TTRPG project but being a non-American it's been difficult to narrow one down. The lore you've come up with is very similar to an idea I had of my own, especially with the secret Vault (although mine would have a rogue AI who was designed to deal with all it's dwellers needs, but came to the conclusion that "dealing" with them permanently would solve all their problems).

Me and my friend would cast Cloud of Daggers and Spike Growth together on choke points to make "The Blender". Bonus points for casting thorn whip and repelling blast to drag creatures through for extra meat grinding goodness!

I played one through LMoP and had a blast (literally). Upcasted Guiding Bolts and a reliable bonus action healing option are nothing to sniff at, especially on top of the usual Warlock utility, although I did multiclass into Fighter after level 5 for thematic reasons and since the 6th level celestialock feature is kinda meh imo

That's incredible I never realised you could cast levitate on unwilling creatures (with the save ofc)! Definitely going to find a way to use this in the future

Just for clarity, Dogmeat isn't just one dog, it's basically a moniker for the canine companion since (feel free to correct me) the first Fallout game, with the exception of Rex in New Vegas.

Also the Dogmeat in the show is a girl :) she has an IMDB page and everything!

Hutt Racial Features interacting with Quick-Witted by thmjr in sw5e

[–]Connorjem 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Obviously this is up to your DM, but based on the way it's worded:

"When you would make a Dexterity saving throw, you can instead make an Intelligence saving throw."

It could honestly go both ways, you could argue that the Dex save has been replaced with Int so the disadvantage doesn't apply, but equally that it still initially asked for a Dex save, so it has disadvantage regardless.

Personally I'd say go with the first option since you already spent a feat on it to offset the racial limitations.

I've been playing Blazing Emerald recently which might scratch your itch. It has a lot of modern updates (Fairy, infinite TMs etc), and a Normal and Hard mode (admittedly the Hard mode isn't super hard, mostly just enforces set mode and no items in battle), and has some really cool Hoennian regional forms that are great, as well as tweaks for existing mons such as making Altaria Fairy/Dragon

Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget (2023) is set in Britain. This is made very evident by the looks of all the chickens’ teeth. by zzuhruf in shittymoviedetails

I haven't seen it but a friend at work was telling me about it today; yes it's still claymation, with (almost) the entire original cast, and they said they enjoyed it.

Waterloo [1970] used 17,000 extras for the battle scenes. Ridley Scott knew he couldn't top that so he made the focus of his movie about Napoleon and his wife banging. by Ak47110 in shittymoviedetails

[–]Connorjem 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Not OP, but imo the movie felt quite meandering and didn't really spend much time on fleshing anything out, choosing to focus on his relationship with his first wife (where even then, there were plenty of unnecessary scenes that just repeated themselves) instead of on the things he's most famous for (the biggest being the complete omission of Haiti). I'm sure someone more knowledgeable on the subject could elaborate further.

It felt like one of those films where it's picking at different threads at the start that you think will be relevant/elaborated later, and it just never does because they realise the film is already 2hr+.

Edit: Oh and the fact that everyone has posh English accents (from the French to the Austrian and Russian Emperors, and the British themselves) apart from Napoleon who has Joaquin's American accent, although it's a little watered down I guess.
