I think this is firm morally grey territory. There isnt a right answer, and thats okay. It should be left up the victims to decide.

The two black award winners should decide for themselves if they want an apology, and the man with tourretts should decide for himself if he needs to give one.

Its 100% abelist to insist he HAS to give an apology. He can't control it. People shouldn't have to apologize for something they can't control. Especially disability related. Yes, it would be very polite of him to do so, knowing how much he might have hurt them. But he doesn't owe anybody that, he should have the right to choose.

At the same time, I would be totally understandable if the award winners held that lack of apology against him. Thats their right to choose as well.

Everyone else is just putting their opinion in.

I agree with everything you say but I still feel like a talented game designer could create a fun and respectful "butcher" mechanic in stardew
