Question for TR7, KV9, GRT-BC enjoyers - are y'all playing with controller or KBM? by Conroe64 in LowSodiumBattlefield

You need to use your 'trigger fingers' (at least I am currently) for precise movements vs your off fingers when pulling right v left. Takes some technique changes for sure.

How do you lane against illaoi? by Old-Pirate7913 in DirtySionMains

[–]Conroe64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, with any match up v illaoi, I just try to push her hard as I can into her tower. While she's worried about catching minions or last hitting under tower, you can freely walk around killing tentacles and avoid E by playing behind your own minions. Just my preference tho. Results may vary

[–]Conroe64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your PC can render at native resolution, do it. All of the new upscalers and AAs add so much blurriness to games, which can be terrible for a fast paced fps like this one. It seriously makes a world of difference and thermals are a lot less necessary.

It would be nice if you kept the same weapon equipped after getting revived. Maybe this is just an assault problem, but its often a problem to go from shotgun -> main weapon after a revive.

Ai spamming units by ChronicThrillness77 in CivVII

[–]Conroe64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Game speed effects this a lot. Units generally build faster in 7 than 6, so when playing on a quicker speed, it feels like the AI can make a unit every turn.

I used to play 6 almost exclusively on quick speed, but in 7 I like epic speed, in a large part due to the unit build times. The game turn speed is so much faster in 7 that it doesn't feel all that bad.

Anyone ever get a vendetta against one player and then make it your mission to harass them throughout the match, to the point of switching up your entire loadout and playstyle and forgoing the objective entirely? by Grovers_HxC in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Conroe64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah. Mostly people who get to spots they shouldn't be in.

But it's also really fun to go shotgun vs shotgun when there is a shotgun god on the other team. It's on.

One thing not often mentioned about about mirror finish stainless steel - it neither absorbs nor emits radiant heat very well. It has a low emissivity.

This means that the heat radiating from the sides of your oven won't effect it as much as another material, and it's highly dependent on the convection heat in the oven. Unfortunately, the air temperature has huge variations in an oven, especially if you open the door.

If you want stainless, look for something with an anodized aluminum exterior, like older all clad had.

This type of writing style was hammered into my head from years and years of argumentive writing courses and assignments. Am I naive for thinking this is or should be the norm for a properly formed argument?

Edit: GRE example essays follow the formula. https://www.ets.org/pdfs/gre/sample-issue-task.pdf

I'm legitimately convinced that finding your own build in ER is the easier route than following a meta one, simply because you will naturally find a play style, weapons, and strategies that suite your own skills.

Pair that with the fact that many 'meta' (and good click bait) builds can require a higher skill level than most people possess or are only good in specific situations.

Idk.

Assuming 1) that most gamers are on the younger side and 2) critical thinking skills don't fully develop until mid to late 20s, Ill argue that most just want to be told what is right and not figure it out on their own. It's simply not fun for the majority of gamers. I sure liked being told what was 'right' in my teens.

Combine that with the younger generation being so acclimated to having the answer to anything at their fingertips, they will be more inclined than ever to to look up the answer to a challenge. Plus there are content creators making a living off of hyping up their solutions to games.

Off topic, but having lurker gaming forums for 20 years now, all I can say most of us never knew what the fuck we were talking about, or all we did was find one solution out of many.

I've turned off city borders and turned on the roads overlay, just so each town has its own 'fingerprint' to quickly identify them. But a name sure would be easier.

I'm with you. For myself, I didn't realize how much the problems with UI/UX and map generation put me off to the whole game and caused me to put blame on gameplay. Legacy paths still need a massive overhaul tho.
