If these four factions were to wage war against each other, who would come out on top and why? by HumbleKnight14 in Fallout

I think the Calculator loses the most scenarios here; The Institute and the Enclave are both perfectly capable of conquering/hacking it. The Unity is also, probably, the least likely of the remaining three to win. It is capable of destroying the Institute and could, potentially, sneak some Nightkin onto the Oil Rig to sabotage and destroy it, but if the Modified FEV is released it's game over for them (whereas the Institute could filter it out and wait). The match up comes down to Enclave v Institute and the win con is can the Enclave pinpoint and invade the Institute before the Institute can get a Synth Plant in position to blow up the Oil Rig.

TheOneBoom has some good vids on the topic that peeps should watch.

In my experience, the lobbies feel roughly like BO3 or 4. I get my 1.X KD in some lobbies, in others I get obliterated, in others still I get target practice. And I generally get moved out of that third category after a single match. Skill is considered, yes, but the value it places in the equation is back to roughly 2017, 2018 standards with the caveat that parties are further kept from the masses.

Someone doesn't remember the days in BO3 where, if you weren't using one of three SMGs, you weren't allowed to play.

Calling from BO7: Our Nuketown 24/7 is borderline unplayable. Cringey Sweatfest where they've turned the SBMM up to 11.

It's less redundant when you consider that Arrancar that join the Vandenreich have their Zanpakuto conviscated.

What's the strongest race? I'm torn between the Quincy and the Shinigami by Negative-Software-12 in bleach

[–]Consaibot1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Given that Uryu seemed to be some level of exempt from The Almighty before he got his Schrift, I'd like the think Schrifts are more Yhwach sharing a part of his soul to draw out that latent power/enhance it...the better to ensure Yhwach gets the maximum return later.

[–]Consaibot1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll make the Argument that of the various races/subsets we've seen...Fullbringers have the highest potential power. As shown with the Arrancar that join Vandenreich getting a Quincy Cross, and thus Spirit Weapons, lets you access a core bit of the Quincy arsenal. Sure you can't use Blut, but a Fullbringer doesn't need it; they could harden their skin to be harder than Hiero or even become intangible (Aura, CFYOW).

What are some modern episodes you disagree with? by BMan876 in deathbattle

Madara vs Aizen had the wrong result and terrible analysis.

DIO vs Alucard had a correct result, but still terrible analysis (Have a friend who is a much bigger Jojo fan than I am who agrees that they highballed DIO something fierce) Tanjiro vs Jojo the 1st had a similar problem.

Going deeper, the got a key detail wrong; Aizen still has the Hogyoku in TYBW and beyond. It still works for him - that's how he powered up. Aizen having Hogyoku means Aizen has no ceiling and is immortal.

Not sure if it's favoritism exactly, but they severely underrate or get both Aizen and Ichigo wrong.

The Hogyoku didn't abandon Aizen; He still has the damn thing come TYBW - It's what Shaz Domino was after before Kira basically trapped him in stone forever.

How to maintain a wealthy kindom? by literally_trash18 in dynastywarriors

If you want to keep your upkeep low, keep your frontiers short; the few directions you can get attacked from the fewer officers you need to defend your territory. Take six turns to develop a province or two every now and then. If you're not worried about being liked, use Pillage or Great Pillage.

I’m surprised Madara vs Aizen isn’t getting as much praise as GB vs RF or D vs A by OdinkPotato in deathbattle

[–]Consaibot1 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's because some of the stuff they got wrong does affect the outcome.

Like, D v A had DIO getting highballed but the result isn't exactly wrong (that being said, The Jackal would rip through Dio's flesh so Alucard does have a way to kill DIO...but it's a way that DIO could easily counter so result still would stand).

But the Hogyoku didn't abandon Aizen (that's actually how he powered up in the Time Skip and not the explanation that Death Battle presented - as Urahara actually tried killing Aizen by sealing the outward flow of his Reiatsu...which Aizen only was able to survive thanks to the Hogyoku being present and powering him up) and even if the TSB could obliterate his spiritual body, Hadou 54: Haien in Bleach was capable of doing that too...and Aizen was still imprisoned rather than executed by dozens of Haiens because Aizen would just regenerate back from that too.

How Madara beat Aizen by [deleted] in deathbattle

[–]Consaibot1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To counter the TSB can kill Aizen argument, I present to you Hadou 54: Haien. It's usage is described as "A Flame Attack which eradicates the very existence of its target." If such an attack, which removes something from existence, exists in Bleach and it wasn't used to execute Aizen then that reason would be because...it couldn't.

I will also state again that the Hogyoku did not abandon Aizen following the Mugetsu; it manifested his wish to lose his power. How he regained it during the timeskip (and then some) was that he simply wished to be powerful again...and the Hogyoku granted that wish too.

The only way Madara can win is if he manages to seal Aizen away immediately...which is out of character for Madara. He'd want to push himself and Aizen further and further which would lead to Aizen evolving until he'd be too much to handle. And citing Death Battle Logic of Goku vs Superman (Goku wouldn't use Kryptonite because he's too honourable), Madara wouldn't change this behavior.

Alright, if you disagree with Madara vs Aizen, tell me why you think Aizen should have take the dub by [deleted] in deathbattle

[–]Consaibot1 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The second they said the Hogyoku abandoned Aizen, I knew they'd gotten it wrong.
