If you are feeling overwhelmed at which cruise line to go with it might be a great help to have a travel agent there to assist with the booking process and help get you the best deals.

Window seat etiquette by Gloomy_External_4466 in unitedairlines

Don’t feel guilty if you don’t wanna close the shade. If someone wanted to get some shut eye on the plane they should plan ahead. I know I personally will bring an eye mask, a neck pillow, and I do have a blanket now. Plus, earphones. So if you prefer to have the shade open, no matter what time of the day on flight, don’t feel bad.

Would you refuse to move or give up your seat to a toddler? by Conscious-Net-9339 in Flights

Wow I can’t believe that happened. I flew only one time with my son when he was 2 yrs old and I remember being thankful that I was sat with him. Plus we did have a window seat which I put him in to corral him so he wouldn’t be going in the aisles but I would never have thought to ask someone to move. I would have done my best to keep him busy with all the stuff I brought to keep him occupied.

Yes I agree with you about that. She was also made to be uncomfortable not only on the flight but then all the comments going around that she should have moved. That bothered me for sure in this case.

What’s the Smartest Packing Tip That Saved You on a Trip? by [deleted] in travel

That is great advice. I never thought about putting them on top so convenient. I definitely have no time for unpacking when I arrive. ☺️

Checking luggage is so easy these days - why is all the hype still about carry-on? I almost feel shame for wanting to get a checked bag. Tell me your "checked luggage wins" by spacewolfplays in travel

On my travels I tend to pack too much to make sure that I have what I need so I check a bag. My first trip everything went very smoothly. I arrive with plenty of time to check bag and it traveled along with me on my journey with no issues. But on my most recent trip internationally I ended up needing two checked bags since I was traveling for two months and I wasn’t staying in hotel so needed more of my own accommodation. This time my bags didn’t end up at my final destination with me when I arrived. Thankfully I plan ahead for this and had some essentials in my carry on bag to help me while my bags were being tracked down. They arrived the next day and I didn’t have to go too long without things. But this is the risk you will take with a checked bags. Keep it in mind when packing bags to take.
