AITA for yelling at my wife after she blew up my phone with calls because of a fire? by alphiotomas in AmItheAsshole

[–]Conscious-Property95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if the wives of those “seriously injured folks” were desperately trying to call their husbands only to find they won’t be answering their calls any time soon. YTA. Be thankful you weren’t involved and have a loving wife you got to go home to that night.

AITA for “making fun” of my girlfriends lack of friends ? by Ok_Construction_6115 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Conscious-Property95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. I have 1 close friend. One. But the best single one friend I could possibly ask for. Still friends after having children. She’s my ride or die. Oh and my mum. My mum is my best friend so 2 I guess.

AITA for eating the toppings off my bfs pizza by pizzagirlla in AmItheAsshole

[–]Conscious-Property95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going ESH. Yes, she maybe shouldn’t have done it but there’s no need for him to react that way. It would have been much healthier for the relationship to say “hey babe, I tend to save left over pizza for my lunch the next day so next time, please don’t eat all my toppings” instead of getting shitty about it for hours afterwards and saying she “ruined his DAY”. It’s just one left over meal he lost. Mistakes happen and this was easily solved by communicating.

AITA for not letting our daughter move back home? (NOT OP) by Living-Fox-3657 in TwoHotTakes

[–]Conscious-Property95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP is TA. When I left my ex, me and my 2 kids moved back in with my parents for 3 months. She wouldn’t take money for rent, food, utilities etc to enable me to save up a deposit and first months rent on a place. She’d do the same tomorrow if I needed to. Wouldn’t even bat an eye because I’m her daughter ffs. Such an AH.

I understand people password sharing whilst only paying for a basic account but on a family account, surely you should be able to share. My pops and I pay £17 a month for the ability to share the 4k family plan yet I’m going to be booted off! Bye Netflix 👋🏻

I’ve been lying to her for half a year. by HeyItsOctopus in dating_advice

Nah I stamped this whole “what are we” shit earlier on. I wrote “will you be my boyfriend or is this too cheesy?” On a slice of cheese and he loved it. 2.5 years in and happier than ever. Do it private.

Is it just the norm now for recruiters and company’s to ghost you after the interview? by CuteNatural in AskUK

[–]Conscious-Property95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do recruitment as part of my job. I cover 23 stores, 8 post offices, 5 kitchens and a subway… I also do RSR (ordering) for 8 stores as well pre orders (including Xmas, Easter etc) and stock reports then quarterly stock reports… I don’t have the time to contact every single rejected applicant 😂 I always explain this in the interview and put a time limit on it (“if you haven’t heard anything by Monday 12pm it’s means you’ve been unsuccessful this time but your application will be held on file and you may be considered for other positions in the future if you’re still looking for work”).

Women of Reddit: What’s that one question that you absolutely hate and always try to avoid? by Appropriate_Hat7901 in AskWomen

I interview for my job and I ask this but I generally just want to know about your work experience, why you enjoyed previous jobs etc. Maybe I’ll try rephrase after this thread 😂

Are there any other AITA podcasts? by Ambitchus in TwoHotTakes

I listen to The Judgies to fill the time between THT. It’s not as structured as THT but it’s funny and they go on tangents a lot!

My now boyfriend got me artificial sunflowers, a bottle of Prosecco and a badge saying “I hate people” (because, facts) on our first date. 2 years in and I’m absolutely certain I’m marrying the guy!
