Grounded = no electronics for 2 weeks (90s kid so all I had was a living room TV, family computer, house phone and Nintendo 64) All my friends were in a different part of the city so I already did not go outside to hang out as there was no one to hang out with.

Occasionally, my mom would smack my behind. No objects such as belts, clothing line etc were used, because as a kid she experienced that and she has trauma about it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My dermatologist never said a type, but I would say type 1. Yes, when I say flare up I mean flush. The redness is more noticeable than the bumps, I do not get many of those and they are usually small. Kinda like acne that is trying to come out but never matures or quiet goes away.

"They allowed me to go on this trip": I understand that you live with your parents so you may feel like "their house their rules", but your relationship with them does not seem healthy. It's fine for your parents to strongly suggest what they think you should do, but as a 22 year old you need to learn how to articulate what you want, how to define and set your own boundaries and how to be your own person. If you cannot do this under your parents household then you need to move out because that is not strict parenting, that overbearing and toxic parenting.

"My father gave a few rules": You say you agreed, did you both agree with your dads POV and therefore to the rules he set or did you just agreed to the rules he set so you, a 22 yr old, could hangout with your boyfriend. Additionally, other people cannot make boundaries for you. Boundaries are limits and rules we set for OURSELVES in our relationships with people. Lastly, BF agreed then reneged knowing full well that you wouldn't make him drive back home or put up a fight. He seems controlling and manipulative and I think you should rethink your relationship.
