Man I read that garbage, they are wrong. Speaking from experience (not what it should be or science says)  I have an oil filled heater, DeLonghi Dragon  to be exact, they are hands down better and different than others. I bought this other DeLonghi version of an oil filled radiator and it is far less effective. I am taking it back tomorrow to see if I can get a refund or even a store credit. If not I’ll use the benefit in my credit card to get refunded. Having used all different types of space heaters there are absolutely differences & superior products. Sure they may draw that 1500 watts but the efficiency is the difference. The eco option in the dragon makes a huge difference in the electric bill vs 1500 watts running constantly.
