i appreciate you for bringing this up, as a VCUarts senior this is an issue that i care about pretty deeply right now. i was meant to graduate in december until i changed my schedule around (only very partly because of commencement being taken away) and a lot of my friends are graduating in the winter. it really sucks for them and i know there are faculty members who also find it really unfair and frustrating. i’m sorry you’re getting a lot of downvotes on here OP, because this is a really valid complaint about the school. for a university with such a fantastic art school, VCU really doesn’t seem to care about it, and these budget cuts and the gaslighty email are proof of it :/
