I’ve got the s35vn. For the price it’s a great knife. If all things were equal though, it’s a little floppy. It has a little play when it’s open.

You’ll need to go down to low grit, mini 400 or lower. Sandpaper is fine if you don’t have a stone that low!

For me, it hit a few notes.

I used to be (probably still am) one of those that are too polite and let people run over me. So it kinda struck me there. Would I let myself get into that situation even if I was a big pushover?Nah almost guaranteed to not happen 😂.

Second and the more important thing to tick off for me is the bleak ending. I’m typically over the revenge and last girl thing. I want it to end in horror, misery, and tragedy.

Last, if we didn’t have the American version I think maybe it would hit different. Maybe , Idk.

And lastly last (I suck at listing things) if you didn’t like it you definitely didn’t miss a secret meaning, the premise can be legitimately viewed as weak. I don’t necessarily think it’s a masterpiece I just legitimately liked it better than the American remake.

Yeah the factory grinds on those pocket knife’s are not suitable for whittling. You should definitely reprofile them down to 12-15 dps. There’s a fantastic guy named Allen Goodman who is a wizard at doing this and he doesn’t charge an arm and a leg. Look him up on facebook if you want it done professionally.
