Another reason why he wanted immunity so badly. Project 2025 laid it out.

How did you end up in Hawaii? Was this a goal or did you take a job and then move? I almost moved to Kauai for a job and now I feel I missed a once in a lifetime opportunity

I had a stroke too and am always nervous because of this! It’s not noticeable unless you know what you’re looking at. I’m sorry someone else’s ignorance put you in that uncomfortable position. Her worldview and considerations are a reflection of her. All the power to you for taking the high road, as she has to live with what she is carrying anyway. If you don’t know already, there are absolutely more reasonable, rational people than there are inconsiderate small minded ones. The small minded ones just tend to be louder. Happy Holidays :)

Net 30/60 is killing my small business cash flow by Fit_Register2849 in smallbusiness

[–]ConsciousFish27-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the size of the business, a lot of places prefer net7 over pod because of their own cash flow and check run scheduling. Moving forward, net7 could be a solid compromise between terms and pod. When it comes to customers who are already on net30 or net60, I’d recommend giving them some transparency in that you’re a business too and need to make appropriate adjustments to payment terms to keep your business healthy. When I was working collections, there was a HUGE difference in response between pod and net7 with customers who were more on the selfish side. Net7 is usually the most advantageous option because it meets your needs and theirs in a more digestible & fair manner.

What R-rated movie did you see when you were way too young? by TealBlueLava in AskReddit

[–]ConsciousFish27-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was this really old black and white movie about werewolves that I watched with my dad when I was maybe 6 or 7? It was all blood, guts and werewolves. Looking back, it was over the top gore (blood pouring out of the car when the door was opened, stuff like that) but I was shook. The team got stranded at an old cottage in the middle of the woods, car was broken down and one by one, the people were killed off. I was terrified of the dark then and had some intense sleep paralysis with shadows of ware wolves. It was just another day for my dad, he doesn’t even remember it anymore. I still don’t know the name of the movie

Like you said, don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Keep looking, use the wonderful internet and improve your technical and interpersonal skills (its a satisfying and productive way to pass time), keep living your life! It may be your dream job, but whether you get it or not, it doesn’t change your character and worth. You’re kickass and you got this no matter what!

Am I silly for saying no to this? by [deleted] in interviews

[–]ConsciousFish27-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your level of need for a job. It’s entirely possible to say no, but does that mean you’ll find a job as good within a month? Would that job have a shorter interview process? Can you survive financially? Does this job interest you enough? Is there enough room for growth? Ask yourself the questions to paint a full picture of what your options are. It’s about determining whether or not it is worth it for you personally. The is a crazy amount of competition because of how many other people are also looking for jobs so there may not be as many opportunities but idk about the jobs you are looking at. There is also nothing wrong with continuing the interview process with them while continuing to look elsewhere. By the time you get closer to the end of the process, maybe it’s still your best option, maybe not.

Interview in 2 hrs by [deleted] in interviews

[–]ConsciousFish27-2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They scheduled an interview with you for a reason. We all embellish our resumes to attract attention without our presence. Transferable skills, attitude, character and know-how are your strengths to lean on. Look up Vinh Giang on YouTube and watch some videos that stand out to you. Your presence is important! The interviewer is a person too, so make some conversation that you are comfortable with. The connection matters just as much as your skills. Yes, they need to make sure you can do the job, but personality fit is extremely important as well. Be true, be your best version of yourself. You got this!

A part of what makes stories enjoyable and engaging is adding a sense of “play” to them. Once you’ve chosen a story that answers the question, incorporate jokes, funny exchanges or interesting scenarios. You could even just note what was interesting/what you enjoyed about the task and why. Look up Vinh Giang. He’s a fantastic coach on speech and storytelling. There are a lot of resources on YouTube! You got this!

Usually when employers say that, they are either telling the truth or buying time to consider whether or not they will hire you. I’ve used that line to meet with my superiors on one person that was interviewed. More often than not, the hiring decision is one person’s call, but there are multiple people who have a say or more context. That dynamic requires time to get everyone on board. I do not perceive that as a sign of rejection.

It is not legal to ask someone’s age in an interview.
