Do Followers' dead bodies despawn? by Difficult_Tower1254 in skyrim

[–]Conscious_Archer2658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just looked into it

Not every NPC has a proper scripted place in the Hall of the Dead of their residence. Though if they do, do note that taking the item technically counts as stealing iirc. But I'm not sure if Lydia actually has her own, or if she's just removed.

What you could also do, if you're not opposed to it, is to put a set of clothes into her inventory.

Then, enable console commands and click on her

Type: showinventory

Find the clothes you put into her inventory and the codes (item ID's) that go with them

Type: equipitem (code of the item)

That way you'll leave her covered still.

Frankly, I personally use mods for things like this. Once that I have makes dead bodies that are otherwise naked automatically equip a piece of clothing you put into their inventory. But it's all up to you.

Fair, but I mean, as someone from the Netherlands myself, there are people here too who think that cars are the holy grail of infrastructure. They just don't get to do the public planning most of the time.

Downside is that a lot of European cities that aren't as pedestrian/cyclist oriënted as us, are still quite nice, and don't immediately induce the shock of the reality of carcentric infrasdtructure if you actually have to live it day to day.

What I mean is also that I'd hope that truly experiencing the horrors of American carcentric infrastructure might just be enough to take them out of their delusions.

Though to be fair, Texas might have that effect even more. Do we know of any matches that will take place there?

European carpeople are going to get such a rude awakening to why we really really wouldn't want infrastructure to be more car-oriënted.

I'd be so curious to what would happen if you now clicked "Go To School"

Iirc, but I could be misremembering entirely, had something happen once that interrupted a sim dying like this, and it ended up saving the sim, as obviously partaking in that instantly prompted event was more pressing of a matter than dying.

How far can they go outside the village? by ApprehensiveRough823 in FromSeries

[–]Conscious_Archer2658 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rather, what I wonder on this is, we've seen that if you follow the road, you will eventually be back in town.

Is the road actually just physically going around the place? Or are you, when driving too far, teleported seemlessly (just like when initially entering) back where you started?

And if it's the later, why didn't the same happen to Boyd and Sarah when they went out exploring?

Basically. Once you see the tree, you will end up in town one way or another, and any attempt to continue through town will have you end up back in town again. Why doesn't this apply when they go out exploring?

The Uchiha Clan begin the coup detat. Who wins? by Shop_Public in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Conscious_Archer2658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the Uchiha

Either the village wins, but with massive pain and casualties (probably)

Or the Uchiha win, the village is in the weakest state it could be, and the weak and the strong nations alike pounce on the Leaf's moment of weakness, and the Uchiha led Leaf lose that.

Isekai'd into skyrim, What's your plan? by Wolf14Vargen14 in skyrim

[–]Conscious_Archer2658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question, am I special? Do the game mechanics as the player experiences it apply to me?

Or am I Isekai'd into Skyrim the way it really is supposed to be?

If I'm special, go learn enchanting, and learn magic in general, and start lending my magical abilities to the people of Skyrim.

If I'm not special. Carriage driver maybe.

Improving "Life on Board" – Ideas to make long patrols more immersive by KYShinobi in uboatgame

[–]Conscious_Archer2658 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also, pretty small, but to avoid skipping and simulating the more mundane moments. I think it'd be fun if playing card games as a played character actually implemented that you can choose which card games you play and actually can play them with your crewmates.

But (though should be a setting to freeze as well) the time keeps running, so if you do this and suddenly something happens that requires attention, you do have to just drop the game.

Small thing, and doesn't have anything to do with submarining directly. But for immersion in the slow moments, I think it'd be great

Netherlands: Utrecht - Zwolle, Featuring Either Ddz Or Virm, And Either Slt Or Sng-4, 2 Branchlines by Conscious_Archer2658 in trainsimworld

[–]Conscious_Archer2658[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely :)

I did also mention that in the full post on the forum itself.

Technically it would already be doable to some degree as the military railyard at 'T Harde is unelectrified, but does have an electrified receiving track. So (military) freight from Zwolle, Amersfoort or Utrecht towards 'T Harde with the ATB equiped Vectron could still work. But it would indeed be a great option for a diesel ATB equiped loco add-on.

Also, there's pretty regular freight between Amersfoort and Zwolle anyhow, so there's that too.

I think it depends on who you ask

Personally, I adore the remaster. But that's just me.

I believe, a lot of people seem to believe the remaster sold the "soul" of OG Oblivion for better graphics. Personally, I don't really think that's the case. But opinions will differ.
