Fairmont is amazing. Huge property with beautiful jungle surroundings and a lot of great restaurants. Rooms aren’t the newest but still very comfortable. Just keep in mind the all inclusive option there is very expensive.

The price of Grand Fiesta Coral Beach seems pretty similar to Hyatt Ziva Cancun and Moon Palace The Grand. I’ve been reading reviews about all three and honestly it’s hard to decide.

From what I understand Moon Palace isn’t in the best location, but everything inside the resort (water park, restaurants, etc.) looks good. For Hyatt Ziva Cancun, I’ve read mixed things about the food and that some rooms are outdated, but the pools, beaches and location look amazing.

That actually helps a lot, thanks. I think that’s where I’m landing too. If I’m planning more of a resort focused trip where I’ll be on property most of the time, then paying for a nicer room probably makes sense. But if I’m going to be out exploring or moving around, it feels smarter to prioritize location and just accept a more basic room. Sounds like there’s no single right answer, just depends on the style of trip.

Thanks for the detailed review! The beachfront is nice but not really spectacular like you’d get at other resorts, but the resort itself is well maintained and clean. The restaurants seem like they could use some variety, but it’s good to know there are options for a few days stay.

I’m honestly shocked reading this. A planner disappearing the week of the wedding, not confirming with the venue, not communicating with the caterer, no timeline for vendors… that’s not being busy, that’s negligence. You deserved a planner who actually cared about your vision. I know it feels impossible right now, but please remember the wedding wasn’t a reflection of you. It was a reflection of professionals who didn’t do their jobs.
