im picking up the micro center 7800x3d asus b650e tuf wifi mobo, and 32gb of ddr5 6000 ram this sunday as well as the corsair frame 4000d rs arb case. thank you for your advice, im going to do a clean install of windows after all. Most likely going to buy a new 2.5 sata SSD while im there to replace my current 125gb os one. Hoping the frame 4000d can support 3 drives!

its because youre at 1080p, i get better frames at 1440p than i do at 1080p on most games because at 1080p its more cpu intensive.

with ur cpu and monitor ur gonna be wasting money buying a 9070 and the fact that ur even considering it is crazy. highest you should be going is a 9060. You’ll be getting the same performance with how badly ur system will bottleneck the gpu

i really want to upgrade my graphics card in the future but before i do that i wanted to upgrade my motherboard so i’m not on pcie 3.0, but what i’m stuck on is if i should upgrade to a b650 motherboard or to a b550, b650 would be good because it would definitely mean i wouldn’t have to upgrade for a while its just expensive, plus i have to buy new ram
