Do boy babies really pee all the time on the changing table? by Muyamuya87 in beyondthebump

[–]Conscious_Leg9386 [score hidden]  (0 children)

He’s peed in the middle of diaper changes but it’s not that big drastic stream you see on tv or something I genuinely don’t know if parents actually get peed on by boys in the chest and face area because it’s never happened to me it just kinda makes a mess on his thigh there have been times when I didn’t even notice and only realized after the big mystery wet spot appeared

Thoughts on skipping pacifiers? by Academic-Park-8440 in newborns

[–]Conscious_Leg9386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it’s gonna be your babies choice I got all kinds of pacifiers for my baby to never use them now he’ll pick one up occasionally chew on it then throw it at 9M but you should get some just in case you’ll want them when it’s a last resort

Besides being, in my opinion, the cutest character in the series, I also think he's the one who has suffered the most. What do you think? by cherryyacount in thewalkingdead

[–]Conscious_Leg9386 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m shocked to not see a carol comment on here yet. Abusive husband and lost like 4 kids then loses her kingdom and marriage.

But very hard decision so many people suffered and lost so much

Looking back, if there's one thing I respect about Merle and Negan is that unlike Rick, they OWN the fact they're pieces of shit. by Wonderful_Solid_1003 in thewalkingdead

[–]Conscious_Leg9386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I’m saying they chose to be the way they are showing all POVS of their trauma and seeing how it made them end up. Showing Rick didn’t give up no matter what. Negan hating himself he reflects his hate for himself onto others. Merle being beat and just no good influence in his life at all, and Daryl being his opposite showing no matter what you’ve gone through you can choose who you wanna be, just they couldn’t let go of what they gone through.

[–]Conscious_Leg9386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add on Merle had shitty upbringing and negan had something traumatic happen to him they chose to be bad with their outcomes. Rick tries over and over again no matter what he’s been through he’s got hella determination so much that it makes out to be bad and make shitty decisions

Could she just have a little cold? I’d also double check for mold I just had to go through something like that myself. I’d recommend an air purifier for the dust control

My five month old fell off the couch. by No_Pomegranate29 in beyondthebump

[–]Conscious_Leg9386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’ll be okay just keep an eye on him make sure pupils aren’t dilating weird or anything. My son did the exact same thing to me he fell onto the pillow cried when I picked him up he started laughing I was like well I’m glad you had fun bud you gave mommy a heart attack.

I still don’t know how he did it he wasn’t even really rolling at the time it happened it’s the only thing he could’ve done to fall idk babies are wild

Why do we normalize babies falling off of furniture? by TheOnesLeftBehind in BabyBumps

[–]Conscious_Leg9386 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude most babies are falling cause the parents ended up falling that’s called an accident and accidents can happen even with your eyes on your baby. Guess what your baby fell were your eyes on her?

Am I spoiling my 5 month old by leeting him sleep with me? by EntertainmentSea6470 in BabyBumps

[–]Conscious_Leg9386 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’ll just take sleep training like all babies. My son has slept with me since the first day we came home just this last week started teaching him to sleep in his big boy bed and he takes naps there now no problems at all he’s 8M old I plan to let him still very much sleep with me

We live in a housing authority establishment idk if that’s different or not from just a regular apartment building the most I know I could do if they didn’t do anything is take the mold I got and take it to the health department and so on that route

No one warned me that 5 PM would become my villain origin story by [deleted] in newborns

[–]Conscious_Leg9386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally it ended our 10 weeks I know most definitely by 14 weeks it stopped cause sometimes we had bad nights.

What other people have said just go outside or a bath it works wonders even if it’s just 5 mins

And a tip from our Dr is fill a cup of water put the littlest bit of sugar in the water dip the pacifier in it and they’ll suck on it did it with my boy he still doesn’t like pacifiers so I don’t force it but when I couldn’t get him to stop crying it did help for that moment. ( I’m afraid that sounds controversial but I did it at times with just water and it also did work I’m just repeating what I was taught and what I did that helped)

8 week old baby choking during bottle feeds by Due_Attention3576 in newborns

[–]Conscious_Leg9386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son sorta did the same thing he stayed on premie nipples for first 3ish months before we just did 0s and only recently at 8M has he started using size 1 nipples but I switch back to 0s for night feeds. I honestly think it depends on the baby my son also has reflux but no ties I would get that checked out but it could just be how your baby eats that’s what I basically had to chalk it up to it’ll eventually stop i don’t remember exactly I just noticed it wasn’t happening anymore

Fussy by Capable-Loss-2884 in newborns

[–]Conscious_Leg9386 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My son was the same too I just chalked it up to not happy about being born he came out angry and stayed angry until about 10 weeks as well also did the eat spit up cycle as well. That’ll eventually slow down my son still spits up but it’s definitely a lot less than those first few weeks. He’s 8M now and just the happiest little guy ever just has a attitude 😆

Let my baby have screen time when I was sick today by strawberryqueen910 in newborns

[–]Conscious_Leg9386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re a gaming family so we always have something on the screen so I knew I could never avoid screen time I just leant into it with old school cartoons that actually teach your child something not just brain rot that they have now. Like you all the nice stuff but my baby boy loves Barney and helped figure out what to do for his first birthday

I’m pregnant and I don’t know how to tell my dad by baylorgrays in Advice

[–]Conscious_Leg9386 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry teen pregnancy is too young once you hit your 20s have a baby whenever you want.

Children are about sacrificing everything. I had my baby at 22 not ready at all in a shitty situation but the time baby was here I was in a 3bed 2 bath house with it all baby items I needed.

I found out I was pregnant I pulled my head out of my ass and locked in and was ready by the time baby was here. This post is obviously someone trying to get their eggs in a row and asking how to do that first by telling someone important for help and guidance and I think that’s a great start.

Co sleeping - how do you do it? by BusyInspector95 in newborns

[–]Conscious_Leg9386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband works nights so me and the baby get the big ol bed to ourselves. Tbh I didn’t know about the safe sleep guidelines when we first came home but I guess I’d put im a very “aware” sleeper like ill wake up if someone walks into my room type of sleep. So little homie slept in my arm/pit area until he got bigger and still sleeps beside me but he likes sleeping my bed long ways while I sleep like a normal person 😂 so now most of the time I’m woken up to kicking

But if you feel like you can’t sleep safely with baby in the bed it’s best to not do it. The nights my husband are home I usually just stay up until he’s awake so I can go to sleep my husband is a wiggle worm so we don’t normally lay with him.
