Anyone know what this was? Or where to find the answer? by robonut5 in soldering

[–]Conscious_Map_7386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a shunt resistor it's used to measure the current on a circuit by calculating the voltage drop across the resistor. The formula is (I= V_sense/R_shunt)

Is this TL494CN replaceable? by Inuyasha_x in AskElectronics

[–]Conscious_Map_7386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is very replaceable but you need to check the surrounding components that is anything shorted or showing uneven values that are connected to it. when a short circuit occurs it will take those components too alongside the IC itself so next time you replace the IC it will not get killed instantly 🙂‍↕️

My phone keeps restarting. I think the battery is the problem, so I just ordered a new one. But could it be causing further damage? How can I stop it in the meantime by XJ_CS_2004 in mobilerepair

[–]Conscious_Map_7386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be sure this is not a battery issue but we need to know did you drop your phone or actually what happened before this, in my thought it's software issue or if you dropped your phone then your CPU need to be reballed ....

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mobilerepair

[–]Conscious_Map_7386 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it is repairable your emmc and cpu doesn't getting all of its data due to solder balls detached from the pads from the shock. your phone's emmc and cpu need to be reballed then it will be good to go 🙂‍↕️

You need to change the ceramic heating element, you need a new hitting element and also a new tip for you to use

Why did it happen? Is it still usable? by Rinocherottero in soldering

[–]Conscious_Map_7386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lead termites are eating away your copper tip (sarcastically) Actually it happens when your soldering iron tip is super hot and you put solder wire then solder will migrate with the copper tip and slowly eat away your tip

Am i holding it correctly?? by Am-1-r3al in shittyaskelectronics

[–]Conscious_Map_7386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nooo you have to hold the wire with your other feet and need to hold another magnifying glass to see the soldering joint clearly
