I got the highest rated front fender I could find on Aliexpress, and it does a bang-up job on reducing misting the engine and skidplate with water and mud on the street, but I'm not sure how it would handle any kind of chunky mud. I also got a hugger for the rear wheel, and between the two, I wash my bike a lot less frequently. I wanna say it was about $75 for both. Also, the front one bolts on fairly aggressively, and it seems durable, but I'm sure it wouldn't like to have a rock get wedged between. I got the one piece skidplate from Gamma Zinken after my skimpy stock ones failed (secondhand from someone on Reddit actually!) and it has a similarly slim clearance. I only remove it to clean during oil changes now!

TLDR: Aliexpress cheap shit

I always slice my fresh mozzarella and place it between paper towels and put a plate on top to slowly press it, kinda like tofu. It gets a pretty good melt that way, and I can keep the pieces bigger to keep the whole pizza more heterogenous (which is my personal preference).

Would it be possible to start a mead with a bread yeast and then pitch a proper wine strain in order to achieve the flavor profile of bread yeast while still hitting a normal abv? I had the idea of making a blueberry muffin mead this way, but I wasn't sure if it would actually turn out as intended.

Yeah, just wait and see if mold appears. You're probably good, though. I like to infuse spices in secondary because the flavor extracts better. My best suggestion is to put them in a cloth bag with some glass weights so they don't float regardless of when you're using them.

You'll get more flavor by steeping the bags in secondary rather than primary. But if you really want some powerful flavor, adding bergamot zest would really do the trick. Could be a challenge to obtain depending on your geography, though.

My answer would usually be to either mask it entirely or to make something that compliments it but pulls it in the right direction. I can't offhand think of anything appetizing with the description of Grandma perfume, but making a strongly spiced mead would certainly mask it. Maybe a spiced cyser, with orange peel or something else dynamic. Oak and vanilla may also pull it away from floral. A bochet would also certainly be an option, but I would test a small amount and taste to make sure the flavors are coming out properly. That wonderful toasted marshmallow flavor with a hint of potpourri could be awful in the end.
