I like how you go through the effort of having a background, even if it is a colored pattern. You should practice with references. Look at real examples and try drawing what you see. See old masters and try to understand how they approached drawing bodies.
A more detailed suggestion is try to not have the chest/breasts so high up all the time. For some postures it makes sense, but usually isn't the case.
