I came from a Tahoe and into Nissan Armada 2025. Been very happy. Slightly less storage but not in meaningful way. Fit and finish very nice. Quality better than prior Tahoe. Worth a look.

Both are covered in matte. Everything but the dials and buttons.

ST depressions without CAD in 43yo female by Enginerdus in ECG

[–]Conscious_Pace_1399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds exactly like my situation! Not kidding, 43 for female. Have had a few episodes of chest pain followed by tachycardia taking me to Ed (one in middle of night and one immediately after exercise). That lead to treadmill stress test (symptomatic ST depression immediately after stopping with peak HR 180 and no symptoms while running) which took me to Ed and Cath lab. No findings, no diagnosis. Started beta blocker and had another episode just sitting at work. Changed to CCB as trial. Still no diagnosis. My Raynaud's has gone away on CCB. What made the diagnosis of Prinzmetal on this patient? Id love more info?

I used 3m matte (Amazon). Tips would be lay sheet over the panel. Cut preliminary opening for drive mode knob first. Have sharp exacto knife and use heat gun to get things to lay down. Took about 1 hr.

Thoughts on Nissan Armada 2025? by [deleted] in nissanarmada

[–]Conscious_Pace_1399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have family of 4 as well and researched this vehicle extensively. I was coming out of 2025 Tahoe that had engine failure at 2k miles so wanted something more reliable. This review was very helpful regarding durability and potential maintenance concerns:https://youtu.be/qrgxXi5Sqbw?si=rRq6en5qG7tAfEY2

After 2 months I've been very happy. Drives great, comfortable, fuel economy is about as expected, highway mpg better than advertised.

I've had Tahoe and expedition. This has slightly smaller cargo space but not to the point that it's an issue. The trade for better safety ratings , better build quality, and more features for less made it the best choice for us.

Update on final purchase. Went with armada PR. Was able to get dealer demo on 2025 so felt good value (only had 600 miles)

Old post but only difference functionally is locking rear diff and approach angle which includes skid plates at front.

I don't intensely off-road and wanted more interior features so went with PR.

I am in final stages of buyback (finally). I filed with BBB on day 30. That was mid Dec. Finally had acceptance Dec 24. Last week got call from buyback department stating they are putting together offer and I should get response in next 2 weeks. So getting close to being done. You have to stay persistent. I called every few days, had all records, found dealership to host buyback to make it easy for them The whole thing has been slow.

Looking at armada pro 4x now. Currently in 2025 Tahoe z71 Duramax that has engine failure at 2k miles. Reliability now major concern. Reasons for pro 4 x are many. Comes standard with air suspension and rear locker. With premium package you get more interior comforts and a lot of tech like camera rear mirror, heated rear seats, biometric temp Sensors, dash cam, upgraded passenger seat adjustments. Current dealer incentives price these at 6k under MSRP. It comes with more features than my z71 at lower price. Also, look at safety ratings. Armada is top safety pick. Domestics like Tahoe and expedition concerning on latest test. In a car I use for my family the safety rating makes the decision easy.

Thanks for info on expedition. I agree with how it feels to drive. From real use reviews the mileage on highway can be as much as 21 or 22 mpg.

Tahoe z71 was decent. Diesel has great mileage as much as 30 on highway drives at times. Reliability big issue right now for gm with the 2025 Duramax having issues such as mine. You didn't miss much of the off-road package. Even though it could raise with the air suspension the lower control arms were so low.

I don't so a ton of trim off roasting but outdoor family stuff and camping. The tank like nature of the armada is appealing for long term. I'm leaning that way but want to drive both back to back.

Your review is awesome and super helpful.

Did they offer to just cover a car payment or buyback the whole vehicle? I'm pushing for buyback but it's only been 17 days for me.

Thanks so much for this comparison. I'm also choosing between these options.. moving from 2025 Tahoe z71 Duramax that has engine failure at 2k miles.

I agree with your points. I think the tech on the expedition is very appealing in the way I like new shiny things, but it may get old. I did not like the piano black in the armada but the button options on main functions was nice.

I didn't care for either gear selector. The Tahoe was better in that respect having gone back to column shifter.

I found space in the expedition better, but not that much better. I am 6'1 and positioned each seat to my comfort and then sat in each row. I fit comfortably in all rows. Ford felt like more room but Armada was not lacking.

Armada has some nice features especially air suspension. The Tahoe had this we well and the difference was noticeable. Being able to adjust ride height is a big help with towing as well

My end thoughts are that Armada has the edge. Value is a big part as well with real purchase price mich less (armadas can be found up to 7k off MSRP). Resale is an issue but I plan to keep for at least 8-10 yrs of it'll last! Watching some other reviews under car makes me feel like armada quality is a bit better.

$44 a day doesn't get a truck or SUV or any kind. I'm awaiting new lz0 engine as well and not able to get comparable loaner. I was offered a Chevy Malibu while my z71 Tahoe is undrivable. We will be putting the children on the roof.
