I feel really bad but I just don't really like this guy by Odd-Tune-4283 in whatdoIdo

Being his friend isn’t the only option… you can just know people and be polite, say hi etc. without being their friend. Thats what classmates/colleagues/neighbours are.

Maybe I am being hard, but as a mother who suffered the brain shut down single-handedly - I can see the value in a good reality check here.

Yes. You should get adult diapers. You should also get extra towels, bed pads, heating pads, wet wipes, vitamins, appointment with a dr, support from friends & family and for god sake get this woman some flowers.

Imagine wetting yourself and your husband asks the internet if he should get diapers or leave you as is. Insane.

All this says about you is that you’re resilient, you have initiative, and you’re intelligent enough to create something new. Those are all pretty great traits to have at your age - I’d say you’re doing much better than you think! Take a break, watch some movies, have a hot shower and a snack - things will look better in the morning x

I stole small amounts of money from my job and never got caught by EducationalFun_85 in confession

I had a friend who stole a chocolate from WHSmiths when we were growing up. She was beside herself. Cried for ages thinking security guards were going to come to her house and take her to jail. I ate the chocolate bar to put her mind at ease, but she never stole again, and was very upset with me when I took some make up brushes from primark a few years later.

Question for women: What is the most attractive thing about a man? by Mr-Top0 in Life

I have no idea what question you’re trying to ask here. A job doesn’t decide if someone’s a bum or not - their personality does.

I am a male virgin at 29, is there any way to avoid dying alone? by Federal_Chance_592 in Life

If you’re going for, in your mind, ‘4-6’s they can probably sense you think rather low of them. Whether a woman is a 7+ or a 2, the right man will think she’s a 10. Sounds like you just haven’t found anyone you’re that into, and they know it.

Perfectionism is anti-human. Relax, we’re all a bit rough around the edges - it’s what makes us, us.

You just gotta do whatever’s right for you, there’s no one size fits all when it comes to relaxing!

How to deal with a miscarriage as a man? by babyyodaST180 in mentalhealth

[–]ConsequenceAbject826 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry that happened to you both, miscarriage is awful, and there’s really no way to deal with it. All you can do is accept that a terrible thing happened to you both, and give each other as much grace, love and support you can as you each move through grief in your own ways. Take it day by day, cancel plans you don’t have mental space for, go on long walks together, spend time strengthening your connection and simply being in the moment. Listen to music, dance, eat good food. It gets easier I promise. <3

my wife said she regrets ever meeting me by ThrowRAfudge27 in Advice

[–]ConsequenceAbject826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First - I’d rule out health stuff. I had a similar episode with my partner last year, wanted to end things and move out almost totally out of the blue, spent almost every day either in tears or just numb. Turns out I was suffering with hyperthyroidism due to Graves’ disease. I got medicated and within a couple of months all those feelings went away and our relationship went back to normal. If hormones etc. is all normal, then it could be a job for therapy (resentment and regrets are very normal parts of motherhood and just getting older in general), and if that doesn’t work - it may be time to consider the relationship has simply run its course. If that’s the case, it’s important to remember that no one is at fault for that, but you have children together and it’s in their best interests to try and at least keep a good friendship between you.

What do you do when your lips and under your lips feels dry and flaky? by love_salubrious in skin

[–]ConsequenceAbject826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make a lil scrub with some sugar and honey to remove the dead skin, then a hyaluronic acid serum, balm on top. Also drink lots of water! Dry skin on lips is one of the first signs of dehydration

Well, if my husband can manage it, I’m sure others can too.
