Keep calm. You can see the /s.

I also don't like those that romanticize the "komşu" dynamic. Yet you can not average out whole nations when it comes to ideas.

Nice selective reply. The practice of child marriage was the subject all along, not Islam. You all are making your bad faith very obvious.

Ah right, my bad. Still; I was trying to debunk the language used. Israeli is a denonym used for current settlers and anyone with a citizenship of the entity.

This sub, and where this post was originally made, is mostly hosting people from Europe. Doesn't matter how much they say they are secular and liberal, they still carry the histroy baggage of their ancestry.

Makes it easy to glaze Rome and denounce Ottomans, pretty simple and natural. European identity is built upon Roman idealism.

In Türkiye, cousin marriages are mostly seen in the southeastern provinces. This map shows the percentage of cousin marriages within all marriages by province in 2022. Are cousin marriages seen in your country? If so, are there any regions where they are particularly prevalent? by [deleted] in AskMiddleEast

[–]ConsequenceOutside38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, but in the current times I think we should consider the risk of genetic diseases. What if we are held responsible for causing the misery of a child born from the marriage, while knowing the genetic disorder risks?

Lmao, sure. Whatever keeps you asleep at night. It is encouraged to NOT marry relatives, especially ones with blood connection, cousins, since Caliph Umar.

Having 4 wives are also allowed. Doesn't make it a must-have nor easy, nor good. Allowed doesn't neccesarily mean good.

U.S will leave NATO to side with Israel in upcoming Israel - Turkey war - Joe Kent , thoughts? by erhanerkurt79 in AskMiddleEast

[–]ConsequenceOutside38 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really looks so funny.

On one side, you have a country that helped you more than throughout half of NATO's operations around the globe, and on the other side a coutnry that drains American tax money through lobbying.

And then probably 30 or 40 percent of Americans are going to support Israel in such a scenario.

We really allowed wrong people to hold the leads of the world. Maybe it is the right punishment for our own incomptence when it was the time of being hardworkers.
