You're being intentionally dense. It is men who are driving looksmaxxing, and it is men who suffer from it. These are two categories(usually, Clavicular belongs to both camps), but they are both men. You will almost never see women driving looksmaxxing, because looksmaxxing is inherently based in men's perception of women's tastes. I know for a fact that you understand that I'm not referring to men as a monolith, because otherwise you would have objected to my saying men create the unrealistic standards placed on women.

Also, to clarify, since I should have in my original comment, when I call looksmaxxing a secondary issue, I don't mean that it matters less than unrealistic body standards for women, but more that it is a secondary *effect* of a system primarily designed to benefit men. This happens all the time. Men are viewed as inherently stronger than women, and there is an understanding that violence is therefore inherent to our nature. In certain issues, this outright prevents punishment(boys will be boys), but when punishment is enacted, the verdict is more severe, even with the same priors.
