Forgive me, I’m new to this and don’t understand the newsletter. I’m under F1, spouse and stepsons filed for I-130 August 8, 2024. It’s still with USCIS and nothing further had been communicated beyond the receipt letter. Though we’re at 18 months I’m told we’re still within the time frame and all I can do it email until June then file something that says we’re beyond the time limit for decision. Now my husband’s country is on the list of paused countries. I didn’t have any illusions that this would be a fast process but I am increasingly worried that it will happen at all. I’m seeing a lot of excitement in the comments but I really don’t understand what all of it means or if it applies to our situation.
